Exposed for 8 seconds at f 5.6. I dodged the left half of the picture for 4 seconds to allow the light bulbs to be seen.

First assignment using the dark room.. Doing phonograms based on Moholy-Nagy ✌️

Photograms are pretty sweet. This one turned out pretty cool.

A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a photo-sensitive material such as photographic paper and then exposing it to light. The result is a negative shadow image varying in tone, depending on the transparency of the objects used. Areas of the paper that have received no light appear white; those exposed through transparent or semi-transparent objects appear grey.

These photograms are made by pupils of the St Michaelschool in Groningen; Maureen, Anne, Luka, Mylene, Kaatje en Jolevi

Kinda like instagram, but photoshop.

Photogram. That CD was microwaved for a few seconds, that is how you get the ray pattern.

SA141 Project 1: Photogram (Photography without a camera)

Was tidying up the bathroom and found a really old coated piece of cyanotype paper so stuck some stuff on it on the windowsill and let it expose. the stars are some glass star thin candle holders, bits of film i found when tidying up and a glass bowl i thought was uranium glass but ended up not being (oops. oh well was only £1.25)

This is a photogram (If you don't know what a photogram is, Google will solve all your problems.) created with some glitter, a round scrapbook thingy and some feathers on the top right corner. I had also put a bit of dried glue imprint (You probably know it, but see here for a better explanation of what I mean by that: everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=529528) on top of the scrapbook thingy, but it was too light, so it didn't show up. I will see if I can dye it for next time...

I had drying issues on this one. the paper was not dry complete so it stuck to the picture that was in front of it... Thats what happens when you rush for deadlines.
