This is a model shot I did several years ago. Notice the missing tattoo in the edited photo, along with better skin tone, lessened hot spots, and more detail in the shaded area in the background.
As a writer, I love pens. As a photographer, I love my new Wacom tablet. My first thought when I first tried it--"I may never use a mouse again."
After all, it uses a pen instead of a mouse--what's not to love?

Photo-edited version of a picture of the rafters of a shopping mall in California. I colorized various areas and enhanced the edges. I use PaintShop Pro, a poor man's version of Photoshop.

Disclaimer: I didn't take this picture. I just edited it. It was a sample photo that they offered. SAMPLE!
As you may know, I'm too cheap and lazy to go out and buy the latest version of Photoshop. So that's why I'm on the search of finding a web-based alternative to Photoshop that's totally free.
Review: I first turned to Picnik since it's already integrated to Flickr but I went to the actual website to edit. I think I like going to actually website better. It lets me use a few features w/o making me become premium that the Picnik on Flickr doesn't. It's quick and simple. I use the auto-fix button for all my photos anyways. There's also a collage option that's easy to use and offers fast templates so no awkward photo resizing is involved.
I also first turned to Picnik 'cause it's nombre un on this blog: www.lifeclever.com/10-free-web-based-alternatives-to-phot...
I'll be going by the list from one to ten. I guess it's weird that I'm saving the worst for last. Or it might be the best. Idk.
