Blick auf das Bode Museum an der Spree in Berlin. Im Hintergrund der Berliner Fernsehturm, im Volksmund "Alex" genannt. Das Museum liegt auf der Museumsinsel, die ein aus fünf Museen bestehendes Bauensemble im nördlichen Teil der Spreeinsel in der historischen Mitte Berlins bildet. Sie gehört zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der deutschen Hauptstadt und zu den bedeutendsten Museumskomplexen Europas.
View of the Bode Museum on the Spree River in Berlin. In the background is the Berlin TV Tower, popularly known as "Alex". The museum is located on the Museum Island, which is an ensemble of five museums in the northern part of the Spree Island in the historic center of Berlin. It is one of the most important sights of the German capital and one of the most important museum complexes in Europe.
Der Gendarmenmarkt ist ein nach dem ursprünglich hier angesiedelten Kürassierregiment Gens d’armes benannter Platz im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte des gleichnamigen Bezirks. Angelegt bei der Stadterweiterung im Jahr 1688, wurde er im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört und 1976–1993 wiederaufgebaut. Auf ihm befinden sich das heute als Konzerthaus genutzte Schauspielhaus von Karl Friedrich Schinkel sowie der Deutsche und Französische Dom von Carl von Gontard. Der Gendarmenmarkt gilt als „schönster Platz Berlins“.
Gendarmenmarkt is a square named after the cuirassier regiment Gens d'armes, originally located here, in the Berlin district Mitte of the district of the same name. Created during the expansion of the city in 1688, it was destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in 1976-1993. It is home to Karl Friedrich Schinkel's Schauspielhaus, now used as a concert hall, and Carl von Gontard's German and French Cathedrals. Gendarmenmarkt is considered the "most beautiful square in Berlin".

der Stern, 1 cm Kantenlänge, stammt von einer Weihnachtsdeko und liegt auf einer, eigens für Fotozwecke, verformten CD... nach vielen Schritten der Fotobearbeitung kam ich zu diesem Ergebnis...

A second painterly reinterpretation of my iPhone picture taken in a nature area on a foggy fall morning. The editing was done with iColorama on an iPad Pro.
I'm working on a music lyric video and noticed this transition on one of the frames from a still to a video clip. i shot the still at a concert that was right on the San Diego Harbor and the seagull clip along the harbor. Fun, fun, fun!
Some drink alcohol find solace, some have it to forget their sorrows, while it's an addiction for some.
