This photograph was taken while I was writing an article on local business owners in Parkville, Missouri. Parkville is a river town, on the Missouri river, pictureque with some fine restaurants, cafes and bars. There is a brewery on Main Street that attracts hundreds of Conservative beer drinkers over the weekends.

The various antique shops and galleries attract tourists from the surrounding area. Parkville is the perfect town for those contemplating a day trip in any season. Autumn is probably the season that attracts most people to Parkville; the leaves are beautiful, the air crisp and full of the aromas of the barbeques and cafes.

There is a river walk that will afford joggers and walkers plenty of exercise on a black-topped path. Until recently, the park was open all night. Back in the 90s, my dog and I often spent the entire nights in summer just being by the river, listening to the flow of the current. I would sleep for awhile while Moby, my German Shepherd was on watch, then I would take my turn. We were united by a wrist-band and leash. We never had any problems, just fun and exercise. So, enough about Parkville. If you get a chance, take a day trip and step back into time for a day.

I look at those stairs and I picture myself falling down them as I leave the store. I drop all the new signs I just bought and they scatter into the street.

I am super clumsy so I have accidentally "eaten wall" a few times, and I'm all the time saying the wrong thing in all kinds of situations so I reach out my arms in sympathy, empathy, compassion, and pity towards poor old Great Wall and I hope that they'll be able to fix whatever went wrong with the lights real soon.

I don't really do New Year's resolutions, but I did make a decision about my phone at the beginning of this month. I'm not answering any calls from numbers I don't recognize! This is undoubtedly someone looking for money; a charity, a political action committee, or a salesman. Occasionally, someone is taking a survey which I don't mind, but I'm tired of being talked into making donations to every cause under the sun!

For the All New Scavenger Hunt #2 - New Year's Resolution.

Friends of ours brought home "hooker trading cards" as gag gift from Las Vegas. Buzz is OBSESSED with them. I routinely come home to find he has knocked them on the floor or spread them all over. He even chewed through the rubber band so they weren't in a neat little pack. Thank god he doesn't have opposable thumbs or know about pay-per-view.

The food is outstanding!!!

I normally blank out license plates on my vehicle pics as a courtesy to the owners who may not want them posted all over the Internet, but in this case, I don't think the owner really cares, LOL!

I think it says, "I need a job" on the side, but I'm not positive.

This MOC is the result of 3 very long days of hard work. I knew exactly what I wanted to create for this category. And so I'm very pleased with the result of my three days of hard work. It looks a little bit small, but that doesn't matter to me, it is packed with details, so I suggest taking a good look.

It took me sometime to come up with the base. Although I had the idea in my mind it was very hard to get started. Once I had the base it became rather simple to making it an real entry, worthy of getting 6 straight 5's :P

Some technical information:

-the MOC is 19 studs wide, 25 studs deep and 17 1/3 brick high.

-it took me three days of hard work to get this MOC done. + creative thinking time :D

-The MOC is so fragile my mother almost ruined it twice.

I was a bit curious about that famous song "How Much is That Doggie in the Window" when I titled this photo. Here is some of what I found on Wikipedia

"(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?" is a popular novelty song written by Bob Merrill and first registered on September 25, 1952, as "The Doggie in the Window". On January 27, 1953, its sheet music was published in New York as "(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window".

The best-known version of the song was the original, recorded by Patti Page on December 18, 1952, and released in January 1953 by Mercury Records as catalog numbers 70070 (78 rpm) and 70070X45 (45 rpm) under the title "The Doggie in the Window", with the flip side being "My Jealous Eyes".

It reached No. 1 on both the Billboard and Cash Box charts in 1953 and sold over two million copies. Mercury, however, had poor distribution in the United Kingdom. Therefore, a recording by Lita Roza was the one most widely heard in that country, reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 1953.

It distinguished Roza as the first British woman to have a No. 1 hit in the UK chart and was also the first song with a question in the title to reach the top spot.

One thing that I've noticed in my travels around small town America is that in the smaller towns and cities you find bulletin boards in the entry ways of restaurants and gas station These are where you see business cards and ads for help wanted or even postings for pets for sale

This is the first time I've ever seen a plea for an organ donation. I hope whomever needs a kidney gets one, Unfortunately I'm not this person's blood type. I am however on the organ donor list and I have been since I was 16 years old.

I've notified my family that if something happens to me I would like to donate my organs. I wont be needing them and I figure that if somebody can use them I would be more than happy to donate
