Cargo Air Lines (C.A.L.) on lease from El Al Israel Airlines

N801FT visited Riem a number of times between autumn 1977 and spring 1978. Flying Tiger titles still visible on the blank fuselage ( (looking closely, even the original registration N9662 could be discerned). Port side had additional El Al titles.

New to American Airlines in July 1970 as N9662, went on to Flying Tigers as N801FT in September 1974 and converted to freighter; leased to Lufthansa 21 January to 1 March 1975, to El Al from August 1977 and back to American Airlines as N662AA from February 1980. Finally with United Parcel Service (UPS) as N676UP from December 1984. (Sources: planelogger.com, rzjets.net) Scrapped at ROW (source: spotter.koeln).

149/366: Architecture - The Floater

This beautiful piece of architecture was behind my hotel in Oklahoma City. I have called it "The Floater" because the bottom floor appears to be floating due to the magnificent reflections of the sky and clouds. I moved around the building and found the perfect spot to add the sun-flare into the photograph. The sun-flare adds an additional point of interested and brings the viewers eye up into the photograph.

This was taken using my Lee Filter Circular Polarizer.

The building is owned by 1999 Enterprise Limited Partnership and managed by GBR Properties and goes by the official name of Enterprise Plaza

Having some fun with perspective photography.

Straight out of the camera - NO EDITS WHATSOEVER. Love this GFX!

This is usually how i photograph mountains.

The California Tower at Balboa Park

I'm stuck in traffic on Highway 12 as a Caltrans approved road crew paves the road with asphalt.

So I pull out my camera and start taking pictures to pass the time.

Beyond the field of corn (pictured above) Mount Diablo, which is just over a mile high in Contra Costa County. I'm in San Joaquin County in the River Delta area which is miles away.

A dynamic and angular perspective of the Rochester, New York skyline viewed from beneath the Freddie-Sue Bridge (Frederick Douglass–Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge). The underside of the bridge frames the composition, with bold red girders leading the eye toward the reflective waters of the Genesee River. Prominent downtown buildings like the Xerox Tower, Legacy Tower, and First Federal Plaza rise in the background, glowing in warm afternoon light. This unique vantage point blends industrial geometry with natural reflection, capturing the architectural heart of Rochester.

If you've ever driven by the Smyrna, Tennessee airport during the winter, you've probably seen this plane from the road, it certainly stands out from the much smaller Cessna/Beechcraft planes.

It belongs to evangelist Ernest Angley's ministry and they use it for mission work. It is parked here during the winter and is quite a treat to the local aviation fanatics. It's a 747SP which is unfortunately becoming very scarce. A contact of mine, Michael Davis (see his fantastic photographs of this plane) caught me up to speed on it awhile back and it is only 1 of 4 left in North America and the numbers aren't much higher worldwide.

It is truly a pleasure to see this plane, and I'm grateful they park it here and not tucked away in some rarely seen area.

This is left to your interpretation. It can be seen as awkward situations when the silence is unbearable, someone you know who doesnt shut up or simple silence, it's as deep or as simple as you choose.
