The rules against photography in the galleries led me to seek other avenues of photographic expression in the National Gallery of Canada. I focused on architecture, colour, tone and perspective. To add an element of human interest I tried to include people where possible.
Here is the 6th picture of my 52 project.
Theme of the week was "Perspective".
Come here next Sunday for the picture number 7. Theme will be "memories".

Backdrop: Perspective. Arcade (PA)
The BackDrop comes in 2 versions (PG) and (Adult - the Arcades with MM and MF themes). This product can be used as a photoshoot backdrop and also as decoration (the backdrop is modifiable, so the decorations can be used in your home).

Does the tree lean right, or does the tree lean left? It depends on your perspective, and how you approach it.
Perhaps not my sharpest shot ever, but I really liked how the trainer lined up in the background.
Sorry for the sporadic uploads, I'm currently in the middle of my exam period for my final year at uni. I have some plans for Flickr when I'm done though!

From Above, then from below.
Two photos of the same chair, shot from different perspectives, look extremely different.
Some of the biggest arguments I've had in life are also some of the silliest. And in hindsight both us were right. We just saw things differently.
The Washington Monument as seen from the Jefferson Memorial. The tallest structure in DC doesn't seem so tall from this point of view.

From a summer walk in the North Carolina mountain woods. Wow- the underside of ferns is a whole new photographic world and perspective for me. I love looking at things from the angle of the forest floor. This was a ground fern (very low level)- luckily I have a swivel screen that assist in capturing photos like these.
