Guero's is a popular Tex Mex restaurant in SOCO. They have an outdoor area right next to the restaurant where they frequently have live performances. There is a well known neon sign in Austin that marks this spot.
All of the images in this series have been taken in SOCO (South Congress area of Austin) on a single Flickrwalk from a week ago last Saturday night.

Fire Cracker Exploding right before it left ur Hands. Holding a long thin metal pipe with the Firework shooting out resembling a rocket launcher. A TRU Magnolia Tree off in the distance. I remember it being totally exciting (that R.I.P.–tide-rush) ! Think the cops were called. They couldn't find the culprit who was launching these things off. Also, once at R Ws' house this real bad skater-kid with GAT™ Jeans had a grip of fireworks & was shooting them into on coming traffic. We were hiding behind this wall just ducking out behind it (sorta 1/2 hanging out with real cool real bad skater–kid who was waaay older than US). Back 2 it… The works were lit then put down a thin long pipe. We watched him fire it a few times into the traffic. Then we left. Maybe that's why Sports & Compositions & Schools - kinda Keep Kids (film) (1995) busy. It maybe helps 4 dem 2Stay out of trouble &/or get into trouble - Thus, have a story 2 tell. Next time I'll talk about the crack house in Ryan's Neighborhood. Trap Trap Trap or Just a place kids would go Smoke Loud with spray painted walls. Just testing the paint-out. Stay Tuned ... :0)

What can I get from that ? What can I get for that ? Fischer Price Barn. The people with no arms are compete wind verse Nautical Compassion-ightsssssssss (read it over it makes sense). Your Second Twice. The first time it was in a coloring competition with the Seminole County Water foundation. You used highlighters in stead of crayons. You took the different route (visually speaking). You got a 40$ gift certificate to toys R Us. You bought game gears Evander Holyfield boxing game. The game. The game gear. The blue game gear. The black game gear. tWAs quite bad… it was really technical the gloves were floating you couldn't see your arms. It was in first person perspective. When you got punched you really felt it. It rattled you. You don’t want your energy levels to go any lower. If they do you’ll have to rapidly press the buttons to get the character UP. You could design your own characters. I'd always make the characters have the most crazy dark skin. You could make the character have dark dark dark purple skin. The game was hard. I only played it cause It was new & wanted to beat it. I think I like Mike Tyson's Punch–Out so much I wanted to repeat the experience. How was the game gear even mine ? Everyone wanted to play it. I remember getting Mortal Kombat (original), it was such a watered down version (verses the Arcade Version). I never thought of bringing it to school. It would EAT batteries. Kodak™ Batteries for days. It had this cool case I remember plus we got the wall charger for it too. Just playing it all day. All the time was invested in it. How to make your work important ? Ugly thought. Just surround yourself with good people. Keep it important.

An early-'70s Mustang fastback parked beside a late-'60s Pontiac Firebird. I still say those chrome bumpers look good. On many of today's cars all you see out back is a vertical wall of colored plastic. But back to the Firebird: I'm a tad confused about the actual model year. If I had to guess, I'd say 1968.

Performance’, Original Soundtrack, 1970. I love this film directed by Nic Roeg. Starring James Fox and Mick Jagger, it was shot in 1968 when the Stones were at the height of meaningful Satanic Majesty-ness. The film was delayed until 1970 because Warner Brothers hated it. Famously at a pre-screening an Executive’s wife threw up, so soiled and nasty were the images on screen.
There have been umpteen books written about the film and lots of tales, which I won’t bother to go into here. Oh alright, just one. Co-star James Fox had a breakdown after filming, left acting and became a Christian missionary for 10 years. Suffice to say it’s one of the best British films of the Sixties or any decade. It captures the zeitgeist better than anything else from that period. The ultimate sex, drugs, rock n roll experience.
The soundtrack works on its own. Some rockers like ‘Gone Dead Train, moody atmospheric slide guitar by Ry Cooder on ‘Powis Square’, jaw harp, tablas and sitar on ‘The Hashishin’, eerie early synth drones, scary vocals from Merry Clayton (who sang on the Stones’ ‘Gimme Shelter’), trippy flute and strings on Jack Nitzche produced tracks, a lush MOR instrumental in ‘Harry Flowers’, proto-rap in The Last Poets ‘Wake Up, Niggers’ and a solo Jagger tune in ‘Memo to Turner’. This is not ‘The Sound of Music’…

Hand held with VR turned on, this was an extremely low percentage shot. During this warm up, the player runs at full speed towards the goal, jumps and shoots. There is only a small windows at the peak of the jump where there is no vertical movement and only horizontal movement, which hopefully you have panned at the correct speed.

Tom Gold Dance, "Plan & Elevation"
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual outdoor Battery Dance Festival went virtual this year, like so many other performances.
So there was no live festival and most of the international dance companies that participated did so via video.
But NYC let the Festival film a handful of the performers live, albeit in the very early morning, as a way to discourage curious onlookers. These are some of the companies that participated; but this necessarily is a very small sampling.
