Clarissa and Lucas are kids in the first scene of their story. I was worried about them looking like mutants----as adults I make in body shop often do when turned to children----but they came out cute!

Too bad I made them in the wrong neighborhood. A stupid neighborhood I use strictly for white-wall shots for contests and stuff. The neighborhood terrain is all ridiculously slanted and it's a pain. I think I need to be in a good, decorated neighborhood to make their story.

Testimony on Lucas: Lucas and I met for the first time while being forced to sit next to each other in Mrs. Hightower's kindergarten class. Lucas was always eating glue--or wiping it on me. I just hated him. In fact, I carried a grudge up through high school. Despite going to a large school in California, we managed to be in the same class from kindergarten to the 12th grade.

And the fact that we have the same last name (we're not married--yet!), assured that we were always next to each other from desks, to lockers. Though, I'm still convinced that Clayton bribed the principal to partner us up all the time. He's such a stalker.

He even followed me to University, and managed to squeeze in as my lab partner in Biology 101...to 201...to 410. But by Bio 201, I didn't mind so much.

I suppose the day I realized I was completely in love with him was the day he flunked a test, wrecked his car and got a black eye all while trying to rush my hamster, Binky, to the vet---saving her from certain death---death by hamster sneeze. I realized then that he would do anything to make me happy; and I was right.
