I saw perfect lighting and had to stop and take a photo. Sharon Township, Ohio.

A peaceful evening in the valley of the river Lozoya, stillness and silence it was easy to get close to insects fluttering everywhere and taking macro close range. The uniformity of color gives a soothing look to the shot.

all of us think, all of us have good ideas and all use to forget them inside of a lot of thoughts that run away from our brain very fast. take them down put inside a paper coffer with a pencil key. Perhaps never use, never more read them, but the treasure of your mind stay waiting you or someone else for all the eternity. Perhaps you were right.

Beautiful Cormorant fishing on the Somerset Levels. A powerful swimmer under the water and was covering a fair distance under the surface. Photographed in the still conditions soon after dawn

It couldn't be your ball, could it?

Toccoa Falls waterfall, with a vertical drop of 186 feet (57 m), is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College in Stephens County, Georgia. Toccoa is the Cherokee word for beautiful.

Comparison Niagara Falls Height: 176 feet / 53.6 meters (due to rocks at the base actual fall is 70 feet/ 21.3 meters)

Amazing sports deserve amazing pics, don't you agree? I would lie if I told you it were quite easy to take some decent shot to this downhill biker, he use to reach a very high amount of speed while performing to well complete the ran and the jumps.

Next to the York Rail engine house near Girard Ave. on the old Ma & Pa line, this pair of GP-15 locos is ready to pull three loads of scrap which they will shove to their next job. This is their first pick up of the day.

When I was very young, I lived on an island and I remember some awesome foggy mornings by the ocean. They weren't something that happened everyday but they weren't unknown either. Here in the mountains of southern Yukon where I've lived for almost fifty years now, foggy mornings are a much rarer spectacle, but when they do happen, they are almost incomparable.

Yesterday, we had a spectacular thunderstorm, also rather rare here, but it was something. I've experienced a tornado or two during my college days in Southern Ontario, and yesterday almost felt like that. The wind gusts, massive downpour, and lightning reminded me of the night of tornado activity that struck South London around 1984. Fortunately, we seem to have avoided a tornado here. Nevertheless, the amount and intensity of wind and rain, downed trees and soaked the land as it is seldom soaked.

Of course, moisture and a cooling of the air at night resulted in a beautiful blanket of fog over a calm and peaceful land this morning. Being Sunday, I might has slept in, but I woke early and immediately noticed the atmosphere outside. I got dresssed quickly, picked up a camera bag and headed out. Despite my quick departure, the fog was already lifting in some areas. Nevertheless, where it remained, the photographic opportunities were obvious. By the lake there was no sound and the light filtering through the fog was as soft and pleasant and one could ever imagine. Then, as if that wasn't beautiful enough, a look called from the still waters. You can't beat that anywhere!

This particular photo was taken in the parking lot of the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre. The line of small trees with their red foliage created a natural line in contrast with the native green of the trees n the background. Then there was this raven. It's is an iconic Yukon bird. In actuality there were two ravens there when I arrived, but the other one was walking right up to me as I was taking this photo.

Photo taken with the Canon EOS R and RF24-105mm f/4.0 L.

Every summer in Indianola, Iowa there is a huge hot air balloon festival. In 2010, my wife and I rented a balloon to take a ride. What an experience! If you ever have the chance, go on one - you will never forget it. Obviously, bring your camera and share your experience with the rest of us! It's an even better experience if you take some one you love.

This image was taken just South and East of the city of Indianola looking North. There were 5 balloons that launched together, and the one in the frame was really beautiful in the setting sun. If you'd like to see this in "large on black"- here's the link: www.flickr.com/photos/w4nd3rl0st/5544598697/lightbox/

This was shot with a Canon 7d and 15-85mm lens. Post processing in Nik Color Efx and Lightroom 3.

Clinging to the branch, precious few hours left. Light so perfect, air heavy with scent of autumn.

Maybe it can be a bit cheesy, but these photographs floral compositions are, in themselves, congratulations and exaltation of nature. Enjoy Springtime.

Quizas pueda resultar algo cursi, pero estas fotografias con composiciones florales son, en si mismas, una felicitación y exaltación de la naturaleza. Disfruta la primavera.

She glanced back.... caught me with the camera.... and stared me down! lol Fun times. My wife laughed so hard. Oh well.

She is tough minded... no question there. lol

Hit #7 on Explore. Thanks. :)

Last Day of our hiking tour in Allgäu and I thought, why not shoot sunset over Lake Constance. Little bit I knew that sun changes its position between summer and winter seasons, therefore shooting sunset , primarily Timelapse from the location I wanted wasn't possible but it opened another door ; "Friedrichshafen Panorama with Perfect lighting" , think it turned out quite well.

Well I had to wait for a couple of weeks for the apples to really go bad before staging the

pepper in the middle of this still life for contrast along with the rocks to add texture, the flies volunteered to help out a little, thank nature that the little critters were not in the union or this shot might cost some money. A little photoshop to sharpen and I think it turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Pied Kingfisher is amongst my favourite species of Kingfishers that are found in India. The way they over water bodies before diving for fish fascinates me to no end.
