What better on a Saturday night than some big juicy burgers, a vodka and coke and a good movie! I made us some lovely quarter pounders for our tea and we had a good drink while watching Jarhead. Can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday night if you are stuck at home.

You always get nice fly days when you fly in a environmentally controlled building like the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field in Seattle, WA. We got free passes two years ago when we moved to Seattle, and finally used them. It was really big and really cool; but a bitch to shoot in. The main gallery here is all glass and the other halls are all dark with selective lighting.
Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can't change. Yeaaaaaaa.. sounds so easy.

A Perfect Circle is an American rock supergroup formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan. A Perfect Circle has released four studio albums, the first three during the early 2000s: Mer de Noms, their debut album in 2000, and followed up by Thirteenth Step in 2003; then in 2004, Emotive—an album of radically re-worked cover songs titles. Shortly after Emotive's release, the band went on hiatus; Keenan returned to Tool and started up solo work under the band name Puscifer; and Howerdel released a solo album, Keep Telling Myself It's Alright, under the moniker Ashes Divide. Band activity was sporadic in the following years; the band reformed in 2010, and played live shows on and off between 2010 and 2013, but fell into inactivity after the release of their greatest hits album, Three Sixty, and a live album box set, A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo in late 2013. The band reformed in 2017 to record a fourth album, Eat the Elephant, which was released on April 20, 2018.

The Cathedral itself was originally designed and completed between 1215 and 1263 on the site of an earlier structure. It has the form of a Latin cross with a slightly projecting transept, a dome and a bell tower. The dome is octogonally based and only becomes circular above the supporting columns. The lantern, atop the dome, was added by the famous Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The nave is separated from the two aisles by semicircular arches. The exterior and interior are constructed of striped white and greenish-black marble, with addition of red marble on the facade. Black and white are the symbolic colors of Siena, derived from the black and white horses of the legendary city's founders Senius and Aschius.
This is my take on Gordon Ramsay's perfect scrambled eggs. Served atop toasted multi-grain bread with Nueske's bacon and cherry tomatoes, sauteed in bacon drippings.
Full disclosure: the eggs got slightly over-cooked because I was having difficulty getting the bread out of the toaster.

... of why I am not convinced with the 35mm. Is it me? Am I retarded?Most likely. I tried a zillion shots on say, shutter priority, aperture priority, even just action. I feel like I cant make the depth of field less narrow, or whatever the correct term is. I really had been trying to get her nose and paws clear in the shot as well, but alas it was unsuccessful. I tried to have a larger aperture but then there wasn't enough avail light I suppose to make it clear still and it was a blurry mess. Maybe this lens' ability to stop down to 1.8 is just too much stop for me (heh heh)! Maybe, and more likely, I am not using this properly!I need to shoot with it more before I give up on it. I see people like www.flickr.com/photos/dexell1827/ use it and have fanTASTIC results...so it gives me hope that I'm mental, not the lens.
I think I am realizing why I am not satisfied with the 35mm(...and this is how my crazy brain works, i flip flop for 48 hrs + and then finally make a choice.)
I think I feel I have to get RIGHTINYOURFACE to get the shot I am wanting to compose with the 35mm....so I think maybe a 50mm is what I'm wanting. I don't think I need the extra space the 35mm is giving me, at least not most of the time. So i'm now going to see about finding a good used one around to spare me the barfalicious price of >500$.
