My Perfect Bristol
"Our new city history museum will tell the fascinating story of Bristol through many people's voices and experiences.
This artwork you see here on the hoardings has been created by a group of young Bristolians who have painted their perfect Bristol. They have worked closely with Museum staff to create images which they hope will become a real talking point.
The young artists are all part of a Gallery 37 Plus project which seeks to engage young people in the arts, giving them te opportunity to learn new artistic skills and to develop existing talents. They have been helped by two Bristol artists - Andy Council and Daniele Delmonte.
Working with the young people on the artwork is part of the new museum's commitment to work with many people across Bristol to develop a museum for everyone to enjoy.

This was the perfect tree. In this spot, some of the great houses of Scotland met and agreed to end the middle ages. But more about this tree: After viewing a massive bunny party, we continued around the bluff and came upon this glen. This tree is perfect. See its roots? See how it grows out toward the viewer and then up? See its craggy branches and leafy goodness, at the base of a historic castle? The perfect tree.
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky... ;)
Quite the little prince perched in the cattails. Such quick little birds i don't see them sit for long.
We have the driver and time on our hands
One little room and the biggest of plans.
The days were shaping up,
Frosty and bright.
Perfect weather to fly.
This was my first perfect portrait. I was so proud of the lighting and framing. & I was on a moving boat, so i had one chance for the jetti to be in the perfect position.
It was a bright sunny day in Penfield with blue, blue skies and the snow sparkling like diamonds so I made a quick run to Webster to take some photos. Big mistake. It was white-out conditions and I could hardly tell if I was on the road or not. Yesterday, Aaron got some awesome shots of Webster Park and today I got some flat, bland shots. Oh well! What was most amazing was that there were only a couple of inches of snow on the ground at Webster Park while we have a couple of feet in the city.
