The real voyage of discovery lies not in seeking new landscapes but in seeing with new eyes.

"Perception is an illusion of the ego and can't be relied upon to decide what is real."
I'm not a big fan of philosophy but i've found interesting some texts i've been reading lately.

There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the windows of perception.

It may look like South America but this is Derwent Water in the Lake District with Skiddaw mointain covered in April snow. Keswick sits at the foot of the mountain but unless you look closely it can be missed.
In the Post Truth era of MSM things are now always what the seem and much remains hidden. Perception is Power. The truth its casualty for now
Best seen large on black or else try here.
I guess i should say something about this :)
This is a moment captured in CCB, Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, that includes the Berardo Collection, about modern and contemporaneous art.
This painting is indeed fully black, or at least that’s how it looks to most people.
It’s told that the artist wanted you to look deeply into his painting – here ‘deeply’ stands for a looong time eheh – and that way you should be able to distinguish 4 very subtle patterns in it.
The message is clear, trying to push you to look at things differently, intensely.
I didn’t manage to go beyond the black perception, but some tried really hard to :)

In "Labyrinth of Perception," the viewer is invited to navigate an immersive environment where geometry and colour playfully distort the boundaries of space and reality. This installation explores the interplay between the observer and the observed, challenging the conventional notions of perspective and dimensionality. The bold, intersecting lines and vibrant hues are designed to evoke a sense of disorientation and curiosity, prompting a deeper reflection on how we perceive and interpret our surroundings. As you traverse the corridors, allow yourself to become absorbed in the rhythmic patterns, letting each step guide you through a journey of visual and sensory discovery.

The skies were amazing. I stopped to take a picture and my perception was drawn 180 Degrees around from the original atmospheric occurrence to take pictures as you see them now. The original colour versions were loaded to Flickr yesterday and today the toned versions were added to a sound track recorded just out of shot from the road as seen in the photographs.

I am not one to play with perception to much, but I do enjoy this image when flipped. Helps you take a second to process the similarity in the reflection of sky and water.
