after a bout of multi theft auto i found my self with a blank head and lethargy. i sketched out the small box because i found myself stairing at the shades cast in the rooms corner, trying to invert the corner in my mind. it took along time for me to realise that i should draw something in there...any way its not perfect, and probably only effective if your my hight. the shading of the wall and ceiling dont match quite either( or fully line up yet) such is the learning process.
6x8 Pen sketch - visual memory is the strongest we possess, storing itself deep into the subconscious and revealing itself only to what provokes it....the mind is a powerful thing, it is what makes us painfully human, what you see is only yours. Reality is how your mind perceives the world, beginning through your eyes... there are millions of others, at different times, different places. universal normality is non existant.

Chief of Police Frank Fowler speaks to residents about crime and gun violence statistics during a community dialogue organized by the brothers of Prince Hall Masonic Temple on Oct. 18. At the discussion, “Improving
Perceptions Between Police & The Community,” Fowler said that while crime in the city is down, shots fired and murder incidents are up. He said residents can help police by reporting criminal activity and by communicating constructively.
“I may be a lot of things,
but clairvoyant, I am not,” Fowler told the group.

The smoothness of the water in front makes the identity of sky and water slightly confusing and abstracts the reality of the branch and its reflection, I think.
As stated before - I've been pushing more for the use of primes. The amazing shallow depth of field provides for more isolation and more use of whatever light is available than ever before.
As we know - I'm not afraid of using my High-ISO settings to get the shot and the Fast Lenses really help attain that.
This shot gives the feeling of being wide angle - but was really telephoto at 135mm.
Canon 5DMk2 / 135/F2
F/2.2, 1/80th ISO-12,800
Although the best exposure here keeps the ISO grain to the least visible - sharpening did bring it up a bit. After the image was sharpened I used an application designed to reduce noise in the image.
It did a really solid job.

Clouds - just clouds.
These stacks are not operational - but the clouds are telling the story... of the potential.
According to first-hand reports from a fellow photographer, this may be one of the last images snapped at a now-being-demolished factory near Atlanta. I'd heard about this place and seen pics, but had never visited. Upon learning that it was soon going to be demolished, a quick trip was organized a couple of weeks ago. Glad I had a chance to see much of it first-hand prior to the 'dozers paying a visit.
This is one example of the statements made by "taggers" throughout the long-abandoned campus of buildings.
