No way to find it! It’s been three snowfalls after the last drawing sessions.

One of the few drawings I have left from my art in High School. Supposed to be a story collage but I never finished it. Paper browned from age. Woman sees someone she was waiting for in the upstairs loft of her apartment.

I made the mistake of leaving my sketch book in a grocery store shelf. I went back and it was gone. At 17 I didn't think to ask customer Service... :-( I always put my name, address and phone number in my sketchbooks after that.

She rules de fairy world and she brings total harmony to those who are lucky enough to see her!

I close my eyes and see that I am already in the place of my dreams, because I breathe that place every day. and because I think everything is already materialized here.

It was raining hard so I drew this.

I remember I was relunctant to draw this picture in 1980 because it was done from my wife's award winning black and white photograph and I did not want to be taking credit for Linda's creativity - but it is such a strong image I had to try draw it.

Charcoal and pencil on paper about 22" x 15". For more on this one, you could have a look at my blog: davewhatt.wordpress.com/2019/11/26/its-the-last-of-those-...

One of my Favorites here on Flickr. It was a little bit hard to draw her eyes, but since they are my favorite part to draw, I didn´t mind working some time on it. Other Favorites to come, with their permission, of course. See it large.

I'm not sure how internationally known Miriam Margolyes is but she's been in some very well known films. I must admit, it's not her films that tempted me to draw her, but the documentaries she's made. Not everyone is a fan, as she can be very outspoken, but I feel she has a big heart and although her questions and opinions can be controversial, she does seem to want to be open-minded and always willing to learn. My favourite programmes are "The Real Marigold Hotel", "Miriam's Big Fat Adventure" and "A New Australian Adventure". The reason I wanted to draw her is because although she admits to being overweight, I think she has a really lovely, cheeky smile!

Miriam Margolyes OBE (born 18 May 1941) is a British-Australian actress. She has gained prominence as a character actor on stage and screen. She received a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role as Mrs Mingott in Martin Scorsese's The Age of Innocence (1993), and portrayed Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter film series (2002–2011). Margolyes was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2002 New Year Honours for Services to Drama.

I was able to take a picture and with the magic of Photoshop, you are able to create a line drawing of a photograph. A photo taken in downtown Palatine, Illinois.
