I was asked to make a drawing of Ian that made "eye contact" with the viewer... something that worked well with other models, but didn't come out so well here. I still don't quite like this drawing (I can't shake off the feeling that it looks like Hilary Clinton with whiskers), but others do, so I'll post it anyway!

I went to the cafe 'mk2' which is located at Seochon, near by Gyeongbokgung Palace. I ordered an affogato, and it was delicious !! I felt like I fall into the universe of sweetness.

Pencil 12x18 Arches 140lb hot pressed watercolor paper. A first attempt using this paper, I love the texture and how well it receives graphite. I will definitely use it again.
