After being gone for an 8 day business trip, I did not get the stink eye. Instead she was very playful. She had fun playing under my ball cap this afternoon. Think it provided her a bit of a wind shelter.

The sun just starts to peek over the horizon. I don't know who that person is. It's not Robin, just somebody looking for shells.

Sometimes when I post one of these pictures, I go online to see which piece of land I'd hit first if I took off in a boat and headed in the direction of the sun. In this case, the first place I'd hit would be a little island near the southern end of North Carolina called Bald Head Island, 53 miles away. After that, there's no more land until I clip the northern end of Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, then come ashore on the African mainland just north of Tarfaya, Morocco, 3,915 miles away.
