Bond Falls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a breathtaking gem known for its scenic beauty. Nestled near Paulding, this waterfall cascades gracefully over a series of rocky ledges, creating a mesmerizing, multi-tiered display. The water tumbles down from about 50 feet, spreading out over a wide expanse that can reach up to 100 feet across.

Lyndhurst, also known as the Jay Gould estate, is a Gothic Revival country house that sits in its own 67-acre (27 ha) park beside the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, about a half mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge on US 9. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966.
Designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, the house was owned in succession by New York City mayor William Paulding, Jr., merchant George Merritt, and railroad tycoon Jay Gould. In 1961, Gould's daughter Anna Gould donated it to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It is now open to the public.
The house was first named "Knoll", although critics quickly dubbed it "Paulding's Folly" because of its unusual design that includes fanciful turrets and asymmetrical outline. Its limestone exterior was quarried at Sing Sing in present day Ossining, New York.

Another nice Saturday and another road trip that took us over to the northwestern part of Ohio. We found this beauty of a court house in Paulding.

The Milky Way glows over the Bond Falls Reservoir near Paulding, MI while a Perseids meteor streaks across the sky.
She fed them a grasshopper, but that wasn't enough for 5 owlets. So see caught a big lizard and just dropped it into the burrow.
Visited a while back and did not have my boots to cross the small creek and view the falls from this angle
I hunted for something to add a little color to this winter scene at Bond Falls in Paulding Michigan. I had to put my tripod as high as it would go to add these colorful maple leaves to this lovely winter scene.
