Bond Falls is a waterfall on the middle branch of the Ontonagon River, a few miles east of Paulding in Haight Township in southern Ontonagon County, Michigan. The site is near U.S. Highway 45 in the western portion of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The waterfalls are listed by the state of Michigan as the Bond Falls Scenic Site. The total drop of the falls is about 50 feet

Bond Falls Paulding Michigan wrapped in a fresh blanket of snow from the night before and covered in ice with the temperature near zero. This is the total package of winter all rolled into one. As cold as it was I did not want to leave such a breathtaking place.

3300 views Thanks Everyone. This was the perfect condition for taking photos at Bond Falls Paulding Michigan. The sky was overcast after a rain shower and the autumn leaves were so colorful against the dark sky. Picture was taken with Canon 40D with 18-55mm 3.5 IS zoom lens at F/S 29 for 1 second at ISO 100 on a tripod, plus 2/3 of a f/s for light plus a circular polarizer. To slow waterfalls down cloudy days are best. The sun will wash out your picture if you take a long exposure.
I have been back to Bond Falls many times since I took this photo and have never been able to see it any better than this.
