A minimalist view of a hotel chair against a sheer curtain. Flickr did not render the colors true in this shot and I was not able to correct them in Picnik; the orange is not saturated enough and the contrast is off. Strobist: one 580EX into a silver umbrella far enough camera left to create shadow detail in the curtain. One room light camera right provided a little fill.
This is actually a stack of metal chairs photograped at a 45 degree angle.
The lighting (from a stained glass window) gives the chairs an abstract light pattern even though they are actually silver in colour.
This cane was feature in my blog dorasexplorations.wordpress.com/2009/08/25/cane-for-the-w...
The cane itself (upper right corner) was rather challenging to make, but making designs from the slices was a lot of fun.

This is the roof of the Seattle central library.
I used a macro lens with the focal lens of 100mm in order to obtain a closer and more detailed pattern. I use a relative small ISO to reduce noises.
I processed this photo with Lightroom. I increased the color saturation and contrast to trying to compensate for the effect of white light reflection.
I used the clone tool in Gimp to make the image appear seamless. The flower petals were very hard to work with!
