I made this card as part of this month's Hero Arts contest "Try Something New". I've had this "Blossoms" stamp set for a long time, and have NEVER used it!!! I also have a brand new embossing folder (Darice "Damask" 5'x7") that I'd been itching to use. AND, I rarely stamp on patterned paper, so that's something fairly new for me, too!

This card was inspired by several of the beautiful cards Lin has made using the "Blossoms" stamp set on patterned paper. Thanks for the inspiration Lin!!

Most pics were taken at Orto Botanico REA, with many thanks to Regione Piemonte for so beautifully taking care, and a pair in my garden in July 2009. This small creek was backed up a bit at a small footbridge (it was just level with the bridge, three days later when I went back, the water had risen and the bridge was under water), and for whatever reason, the leaves and water formed this cool pattern behind it.
