The recreational pathway along Woodroffe just south of the Sportsplex where it crosses Vaan Drive. This is a pretty typical pathway crossing treatment - and it is both dangerous and unsupported in law. It is dangerous because turning traffic from Woodroffe (either direction) may not be looking for rapidly approaching cyclists. It is unsupported in law because a multi-use pathway carries cyclists but riding in crosswalks is illegal under the Highway Traffic Act. The proper way to do this would have been to divert the path away from Woodroffe - not towards - and create a dedicated intersection with Vaan Drive without a crosswalk.

Pathways wants students to be able to express their own ideas, to be able to live in their own world for some time, to be able to learn what kind of a person they really are from the inside.

To do this, we provide a variety of instruments for the students to play with and be able to learn the power of sound and music in their lives.

This was the very steep pathway my father & I took back down the mountain. This was also taken before it started raining & raining. Sad to say, but I was the last person back down. I suck.

A pathway that's in the garden. The gravel is near the decking area where the table is in one of the other photos.

Covered pathway next to Samovar. This one has an awesome location, middle of the city but the city feels miles away up here. Plus Samovar just has some plain yummy tea.

Not the best photo, but I like it anyway. I like bamboo too. A few years ago I went to Japan for just over a week on a school trip. The first 3 major differences I noticed were: a) the houses are very close together, narrow streets and stuff. b) power lines EVERYWHERE! like a tangled spaghetti mess, but somehow intriguing. and c) (actually this was the first thing, I just put it last for effect) Bamboo forests! Just along the highway, but they were somehow spectacular. I just wish I could have seen them closer. So the point is bamboo is cool.

About 20 years ago I was on work experience at the Country Park in Daventry and this was just a pathway through a field with no trees.

The head ranger at the time asked me how I would stop people from walking off the path and trampling the grass so I told him to plant a row of trees...20 years later and it seems to have done the trick!
