The boardwalk at Mono Lake. The milky way showed up from behind the clouds for one very brief moment on the way back to the Jeep. Almost as if it taunted me all night long. Frustrating and rewarding hobby at times.

It is a Medieval Castle and built in 1283.

It is recognised around the World as one of the

greatest buildings of the Middle Ages.

It is on the bank's of the River Seiont.

Walk back in time and see over 100 classic cars and vehicles from the 1920s onwards. Set in a replica of a 1940s cobbled village street, you can view an assortment of vehicles including motorbikes, cars, vans, military and agricultural vehicles some of which have even been used in films and TV programs, such as ITV's "A Great Welsh Adventure" with Griff Rhys Jones.

 

We have a Cafe on site, (Cafe Nain), featuring local produce. a play area with outside seating and panoramic views of Snowdonia.

 

I don't normally do the "before and after" thing, but just for a change I decided to offer a glimpse of the original... so here you go...

Some pathway lead me to this creation. Pathways, large and small, going in all directions; not one size fits all.

The Wenallt (also known as Coed-y-Wenallt) is an area of semi natural ancient woodland to the north of Cardiff

The light reflected these

Patterns through the trees onto the ground.

Those of you who have been with me for quite awhile know there were some tough times, but I'm very happy to say I celebrated making it 5 years after all the yucky treatments and that's what they call cancer free... yay! at Minuteman National Historical Park - HBM

Kilminorth Wood is a nature reserve that runs along the West Looe River valley, close to the town of Looe in S.E. Cornwall. Classified as ancient woodland, it has been described as 'the Lungs of Looe'.

 

The wood is mostly oak trees, but there are also sycamore, rowan, holly and other varieties. The woods are a haven for wildlife including deer, foxes and badgers as well as a wide range of birds and insects.

 

This pathway is not far from Dolbadarn Castle, Llanberis, Gwynedd, North Wales.

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them! Thanks again!!

This was one of those shots where I thought - yes its coming together with taking photos. It was a misty morning, big surf and a nice sunrise over at Norah head with the light from the lighthouse still going.

I can't wait to get my film scanner to scan this one

The only thing I think that's a bit uneven is the 50:50 ration between the sky and foreground, and may benefit from some cropping

Unbelievable colourful end to the day...I've toned this down bit too. Taken in the Peaks.
