The main path of the cemetery, taken from just inside the gate. Sharon and I will be paying our respects to those family members buried here. Most of the graves are covered in marble, the caskets buried in vaults underneath.

A shot from my first photographic visit to the Angel of the North.
The Angel is a contemporary sculpture, designed by Antony Gormley, located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England.
It is a steel sculpture 20 metres (66 ft) tall, with wings measuring 54 metres (177 ft) across. The wings do not stand straight sideways, but are angled 3.5 degrees forward to create a sense of embrace.
According to Gormley, the significance of an angel was three-fold: first, to signify that beneath the site of its construction, coal miners worked for two centuries; second, to grasp the transition from an industrial to information age, and third, to serve as a focus for our evolving hopes and fears.
The sculpture was built at Hartlepool Steel Fabrications Ltd using Corten weather resistant steel and was finished in February 1998 at a cost of £1million.
This path caught my eye while in glacier national park. I fell in love with the way the natural surroundings meshed with the man made structure.
