Following their move to campus a new academic procession, "The Creighton Pathway" preceded the President’s Academic Convocation on Tuesday, August 23rd. More than a thousand new students as well as academic and University leaders dressed in regalia made a symbolic walk from St. John’s Church down the campus mall walkway to the D.J. Sokol Arena to attend their formal academic introduction to Creighton.

A Saturday well spent in Latham Springs- connection, bonding, worship, teaching.

A photo that we took after our SEIC intern class this Sat. We run the class on three Saturdays during the spring quarter to ensure every SEIC intern can participate, and we have a few other students who also take the class. We try to have as many of our SEIC mentors come talk so they can meet their interns and also give the full class the benefit of their expertise. We also invite other key speakers, knowledgable about CA and Western energy issues.

We had a top notch set of outside speakers on Saturday, May 13 - two of our mentors - Alberto Ayala (CARB, Sustainable Transportation), Emilio Camacho (Mexico-CA MOU) - plus: Aimee Barnes, Sr. Climate Adviser in Gov. Brown's office; Tory Clark (E3 who heads up the Pathways 2030 and 2050 climate modeling for CA agencies); Lakshmi Alagappan (E3, Stanford Masters grad and Schneider fellow who heads up Western/CA transmission expansion modeling), and our own Blas Perez Henriquez.

An integral part of the curriculum at Pathways is the Community Service Programme - which ensures that students are not alienated from the real world around them and they realize the importance of grasping the nuances of the common man before setting out to take on the world.
