Riley Pathfinder. Riley followed the long running RM cars with the Pathfinder (RMH), keeping the famous Riley 2,443cc twin cam 4-cylinder engine. Gerald Palmer designed the lovely Italianate body, which was shared with the Wolseley 6/90 although there were many differences. However, the Riley was given 'interesting' rear suspension which was known to fail and earned the car its nickname of 'Riley Ditchfinder'. A later Riley Two-Point-Six was given both the BMC C-series inline six and conventional rear suspension from its Wolseley 6/90 cousin and the last ever true Riley was gone.
