"On Feb. 2021 the Pathfinder was brought down from the shuttle stack. Time, sun, rain and winds damaged the wood, and fiberglass shell.
The restoration program will include restoring the solid rocket booster and the external tank while they remain on the stack.
NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and the U.S. Space and Rocket Center are working together to determine the best plan for its restoration."

The river knows where to flow, finding a path as it goes. It travels around small islands, over a steep drop, and then carves through a steep gorge on its path downstream. A large mist cloud forms and a rainbow appears.
The water levels were lower and calmer closer to the shoreline and a group of ducks were dabbling. The gulls were busy flying and feeding in the river. It may be cold but there is life on the river. The temperature was -9 Celsius with a windchill around -15 Celsius. A beautiful and sunny winter day was in store. The walking path in this section beside the river was mostly icy. This pathfinder wore a good pair of boots and tread carefully and slowly.

With the sun popping out just as the train rounded the curve about 100 yards distant, 97302 & 97304 canter past Black Rock Sands on the approach to Criccieth with 1Z67, the 05.57 Swindon - Pwllheli 'The Cambrian Coast Express' on Thurs 12th September 2024.
Dr Henry (Indiana) Jones, the ultimate pathfinder locates the greatest prize of archeology, the Holy Grail, but naturally there are other interested parties! I set this up on my table top using an A4 card bent to resemble a cave. The nuts, I thought resembled boulders and the grail is from a set of two wooden goblets from a charity shop. Lighting was window light which required 2 seconds for my chosen ISO 100.
