I took this at the famous Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. At the farm you can experience the fall harvest with the colors, scents, tastes and sounds found on their 100 acres. You can also shop for pumpkins, squash and gourds in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Bates Nut Farm also has numerous activities including hay rides, straw maze, pony rides and farm zoo.
You may have seen the "Secret Squirrel" patch around. There's even one clearly visible in the movie Zero Dark Thirty. You can get them, in many colors and materials from Milspec Monkey.
But I designed them. And for a few years, bought hundreds at a time, took orders from locals and obscure military/government/police forums (the US Secret Service were particular fans) and mailed them out. Eventualy, I got tired of this, so gave it to Money Boy to deal with instead.
One of those typical cuban finds. This one was while walking after a delicious lunch on the Miramar neighborhood which according to a cab driver, used to be the place where the rich lived. The architecture around it still tells they had great houses, it's a pity it's all falling apart now.

Patches may well be the sweetest most mellow pet on the planet. Charlie, at age 10, has no trouble at all getting him out of the cage and he just sits, grunting and purring quietly while we pet him over and over again. That is contented joy.

On day four of my train journey across Canada by VIA rail. October 2018. We are seeing lots of snow now.
The window are not very clean so the photos are not that good. Also the train was speeding along at times and really bumpy. I have put all the photos I took on my journey on Flickr as a record of my trip.
Scrappy 25-patch quilt. 90" x 90". Blocks are 2" finished. I made it 70 x 70 and wanted it larger, so cut more blocks...I have enough to make another entire 90" x 90" quilt!!!!
I think Nathan took this picture. It is such a great picture of Patches!!! In the wintertime her nose gets so pink from being outside so I call her "Pink nose" then. How original. I know!
All we needed were one meter fiber, but we had to use some 50-meter fiber for some of our patches... We're still waiting on all our 1 meter patch cords.
She has a habit of over eating and over grooming. Therefore she is fat and licks her belly bald. If she wasn't so fat I think she would groom herself completely bald.

These photos are not mine, but of people who bought them back in the day. There is no PERSEC violation as far as I can tell plus they are all pretty old.
