Another ghost photoshoot/Fall Polaroid Week reject. We got to spend some time by ourselves in the pumpkin patch at @futurevisionsfarmstn Clay Sheds last October. Managed to get both of them together for this one!
Here's the newest red squirrel in my woodland, Patch.
Named so because on his arms you can see his winter coat coming through in patches. Although it isn't too visible from this angle.
This is not a patch on the sort of work she produces but it would be wrong of me not to mention that the inspiration for this came from esanatha. For those of you who haven't seen her pictures then why not?!! Please take a look at them, enjoy the compositions, delight in the strong colours, be envious of her creativity and be intrigued by the titles!! :)
This shot of an optician's clinic, taken near London's Carnaby Street, is part of the ministract set.
Heart shaped leaves commune in groups of three around the stem of each sprouting plant. This is redwood sorrel, named for its close companionship with the sequoia tree.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon has been reborn at The Grove Country Club Estates. Located on the Antiquorum region in Second Life, this region size estate is now open to the public. The work of the incredibly talented Patch Thibaud, you must experience this estate to full appreciate it. Stop by and take the gondola which will bring you to the entrance.

I took two new pictures today to post them on Instagram to introduce the actual fight that went on yesterday between the Patches and their sweater, as the horizontal format won't be much readable on people's phones.
And as I can't resist Patch, I'll post them here too.

GAY BILLY DOLL - Totem International created Gay Billy dolls from 1997 up to 2005. Billy was labeled as the first "out and proud gay doll" and was marketed to the gay community as a pride item. Billy was toned, handsome, and very well endowed. Later, he was given a boyfriend named Carlos with a slightly less buff physique and a more latino body. After Carlos game Tyson, the worlds first out and proud gay African American. Billy was very popular, even going to events where money was raised to fight AIDS. He even had his own flavor of Soda Pop from Jones Soda!
in 2002, UPS filed a lawsuit against Totem International for making a United Parcel Service doll with a brown outfit. It was part of the line "American Heroes", and sold for $49.95. UPS sent them a cease and desist which was followed, and the product was recalled and destroyed. Shortly thereafter, Totem International quit and Billy was no longer manufactured. Now, the Billy Parcel Service doll (BPS Billy) goes for over 1,000$ each.
A mint Gay Billy can go for around 150-300$.
--"They're a neat little novelty, a gay version of the Cabbage Patch doll," said Charles Wells, general manager of Manoeuvres gay nightclub, Wells said he thinks Billy carries a symbolic message. "It's kind of a missed childhood for gay men. The message is that boys don't play with dolls, except GI Joe, and he had a gun. That's one thing Billy doesn't have."

When Union Pacific wanted to paint up an SD70ACe to honor the US military based on a B17 bomber built in 1943 and named The Spirit of Union Pacific, they first needed to free up road number 1943. This road number was already assigned to an ex-Cotton Belt GP60. The old 1943 was renumbered and re-patched to UP 1158 to make room for the new heritage unit. The old road number, however, still sticks out like a sore thumb.

Come to the Pumpkin Patch at Seminole Heights United Methodist Church down on the corner of Central & Hanna in Seminole Heights. The Patch will be open 12-8 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturdays until Halloween.
The era of scarlet and gray is supposedly coming to a close on UP but you'd have a hard time convincing us guys in the bay area. 1004, 1005, 1068 and 1089 are residents of locals here resplendent in their trashed Cotton Belt paint. 1004 has always been the nicest and the hardest for me to find but it's now in fatty land, working locals out of Ozol. This evening I was lucky enough to be out doing Cal-P things and had the extra crew of the Crockett Rocket made it to Phillips at Rodeo well before sunset. Unfortunately sky junk (which has been relatively rare lately) pretty much got the sun before I could get some real money work done. This was as good of light as they saw this evening, first day of daylight savings. It would've all happened after sunset yesterday.
Consist is 1004-1039-1068
I'm giving bonus points to whoever finds the most interesting muck junk in the foreground.
I can feel the summer slipping away already, missing those warm evenings when I could walk along the beach without a jacket.

Max Patch is one of Western North Carolina's popular dayhikes along the Appalachian Trail. Located just outside of Hot Springs NC, Max Patch was featured in the film A Walk in the Woods.
The title for this nicely decaying house has multiple meanings.The most obvious was because of the temp yesterday-it was bitter out there!The second reason was the cockleburr patch that I,and most unfortunately my wife,waded thru to get to the door.Quick note:never wade thru 5 ft. high cockleburrs with a sweater coat on-my wife is still glaring at me as I type this!
