Since the Knowledge Exchange was held in Kathmandu, the participants visited the programs of two GFC grassroots partners in the city. One group visited Prisoners Assistance Nepal, while the other group visited Partnership for Sustainable Development Nepal. Here, Shahzad Khan of Chanan Development Association (Pakistan) plays with a resident of an orphanage where Partnership for Sustainable Development Nepal conducts programming.

For some reason this photo made me think of alot of different things when I first looked at it. The fact that there are an odd number of pairs and an even number total took my brain for a spin. Then for whatever reason it reminded me of having a close friend. Not just the kind that you have at work, or even a casual acquaintance. I am talking about someone who has a like mindedness and some heart as you. They don't seem to come by very often, and possibly not at all. Have a wonderful day.
