Cinderella’s Castle and the area around the Partners Statue is a lot like a box of Chocolates. You never know what you are going to find til you get to the middle. I have been greeted by everything from construction cranes to a boxed up Partners Statue, but tonight was finally different . The crane was gone and the Partners were out the box and back where they belong.
My partner and I took a short trip to the SW of Western Australia to visit her cousins. There were a number of Scarlet Robins around the area where we stayed. On the last day, it dawned quite overcast and this male perched on the post for the handrail for the steps up to the deck. It seemed quite unperturbed with me lying on the deck and clicking away with the camera. Boyup Brook, Western Australia.

Today's photo tour sends us back to the Magic Kingdom for another fireworks shot. I can sit here for hours taken these kinds of shots because they challenge you. It's either you get a good shot or you don't. The thing I find that most people who shoot fireworks don't do is take a long enough exposure. Most of my shots can range anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute because I like getting those long trails and multiple bursts. This also insures you that you will get at least one really nice burst in your frame. How do you shoot fireworks? Have a great weekend!

Today is Walt's birthday so what better way to pay tribute than have a Partners shot at Walt's Original park: Disneyland. This was a monster three hour edit in Photoshop for me. It's not pefect, but it's my best editing job probably ever. Only the best for Walt.
Hahahah Just had to play with this one a bit. No story or poem just fun to look at. Couldn't pick just one either so Partners they are as they are the same image just slightly different in color and style.
Tiger Lilly's of course as that's the main flower in the garden. With some drift wood on a glass and tile table. Fisheye, saturation and a few color changes.

I shot a very very similar photo last trip, but had some issues with editing I wasn't able to overcome without reshooting. So I reshot it and now I think this is my best version of this shot so far.
Also, thanks to everyone who continues to view the photos I upload, I finally hit 1 million views on Flickr! Next stop 1 billion! - imgur.com/E3Sg8Kn

These dedicated life partners stand together always and face anything and everything (rain, hot sun, strom, day and night).
They are waiting for the sun rise now.

Squint your eyes a bit and you might see an angry/evil Japanese Spiderman, or you might just see the walkway to the Wellcome Trust Gallery at the British Museum.
This iconic architectural marvel is one of the most photographed buildings in London. As a result it's difficult to get a fresh take on it. I'd previously seen some interesting shots from this end, but none quite like this.
