This is an example of three Parallel Horizontal trees, intersecting with one Vertical tree. The Horizontal trees are Perpendicular (form a 90 degree angle) with the Vertical tree.

Taken for the parallel challenge in the Shootaboot group

Fed up with the roadworks on the main road, a following VW Golf takes a parallel road access road. Must be local.

The Parallel Cases exhibition on January 29 at Cooper Union is fast approaching. Hope to see you there!

Experimental shot, glad it came out not half as bad. At least it ain't totally washed out.

I was thinking of doing some city pinhole shots so I made yet another pinhole 4x5 camera this time with a shifting pinhole to get an angle while keeping verticals straight and parallel.

Unfortunately I only managed to get a variable 0-10mm movement. The camera is 30mm focal length f130.

I had no idea that I would bump into Chrissie and Consuelo when I took this photo. These were mirrors being sold in the street market and I passed them on my way to a bargain store - well, okay, you see, I wasn't supposed to go to the bargain store; I was really only going to buy a couple new hair rubber bands - not in the bargain store, but from some side-street vendor.

This pause right here to get this shot was part of the path to see them. Perhaps if I didn't stop here, I would've missed them. Who knows. But, it was such an unlikely place to bump into a couple of expat women, both artists, and apparently on the same path in their creative life as I am - we were all beginning, emerging. We had a lovely chat while rummaging through shirts, skirts, dresses... and once in a while we would give each other a deeper glance and wonder why on earth we met there. I know the answer now: Possibilities. Everything staged the meaning of Possibilities.

There was a steepness in the darkness

I wanted to cut it like a comet crash

Hit the city, where you had echoed from a flash

Made it all seem not so bad

'Cause we were parallel lines running through the whole sky

And even in the low light, we were aligned

'Cause we were parallel lines, separate the whole time

But even in the divide, you and I

Don't dare repeat this

But when I lay alone that night

I let the city see me cry

And in my weakness

I wish you hadn't closed your eyes

Crossed the city, open mine

'Cause we were parallel lines, running through the whole sky

And even in the low light, we were aligned

'Cause we were parallel lines, separate the whole time

But even in the divide, you and I

I watched you comb your hands through the light

Every detail spilled from your outline

All at once you filled my eyes

And I could see it all for the first time

'Cause we were parallel lines running through the whole sky

(The whole sky)

And even in the low light, we were aligned

(We were aligned)

'Cause we were parallel lines, separate the whole time

(Whole time)

And even in the divide, you and I

This project is my speculation about presumable existence of parallel universes. The universe is infinite, but there is only limited amount of particles everything is made of. That means, that any combination of limited amount of participles will repeat again. Theory of hyperspace says, that our universe is just one small bubble in the foam full of bubbles. What if somewhere there, in the depth of infinite universe, exists exactly the same version of me?

Or you?
