Had a proper look at these flowers and I've come to the conclusion that these are a hybrid between (P. Veris ) Cowslips and Primrose ( P vulgaris ). I took this image today at the Knapp & Papermill nature reserve.
An abandoned papermill virtually untouched by vandalism or graffiti. Not sure about the whole history but it dates back to the 1920s/30s.

The old cottage in Papermill meadow now a home to many species of Bat. It was last home to people in the sixties and is completely off-grid. I sold a canvas photo to a lady who lived here when she was a child and I remember her telling me story's
about her family and what it was like living here back in the sixties
