These are all the panels lining the ceiling of a theater in downtown Kamiyama. Most of the advertisements were made during the 30's. The Theater is åŠ‡å ´å¯„äº•åº§ and it was built in 1929 as entertainment for the civic center of Kamiyama. Kamiyama was a major halfway point between where the cut down trees and Tokushima where the trees were milled down and shipped out to the rest of Japan.
Sir Frank Brangwyn's 'Empire Panels', Memorial to the fallen of WW1 originally intended for the House of Lords - but homed from 1934 in Swansea's Brangwyn Guild Hall, built by Temple of Peace Architect Sir Percy Thomas, where they can be seen to this day.

This the first part of a natural stone panel ( each one: 0,30 cm x 1,22 cm) with 5 parts and the same design idea. The complete panel will be 1,22 cm x 1,50 cm.
Tecnique: indirect
Materials: marmor, unglased ceramic (black colour ) and with a special blue stone from Brasil (azul bahia).
I am preparing a exposition for april 2012 and this panel will be there!
spent the day walking around many different parts of cleveland. snapped a few pictures along the way.

The line for the Naze Nani Megatokyo panel was epic. It even suprised the staffers that a series they never heard of had a line for over an hour before it even started.
Line ended up wrapping all the way down the hall and back the other way. Still never seen a small room panel with a line like this.
Sorry for the low quality these were taking on an early 1.1 megapixel digital camera that used 3.5in floppies T_T
