When we had the panels up at a sharper angle, they were draining out. Now we have them below the water line and the water is flowing nicely.

These are all the panels lining the ceiling of a theater in downtown Kamiyama. Most of the advertisements were made during the 30's. The Theater is 劇場寄井座 and it was built in 1929 as entertainment for the civic center of Kamiyama. Kamiyama was a major halfway point between where the cut down trees and Tokushima where the trees were milled down and shipped out to the rest of Japan.

One of the educational panels in the Water Well Education Garden at Botanica, The Wichita Gardens.
The garden was dedicated in 1997 after the city of Wichita redid their water wells. Instead of hiding the vent pipes and transformers Botanica decided to educate the public on how the city gets its water and the history of Wichita's water sources.
