This picture was taken just before sunset in the patio area of Aunt Chilada's, a Mexican restaurant in Phoenix. The restaurant was the site of a Flickr meetup, where about a dozen of us got together for a couple of hours' worth of camera talk and picture-taking, with a nice meal thrown in as part of the package. For one and all, it was time well spent.

These are pictures I snagged from an ebay auction way back in 2005. This is the Palmtree Instruments 'Airdrums' that was released in 1988 - a drum machine that you played by waving two MIDI enabled batons in the air. I noticed that there's next to nothing in terms of visual presence of these on the web - and absolutely nothing in terms of audio / video demos. Hopefully Matrixsynth will pick this up and motivate an Airdrum owner to do a Youtube demonstration. Or maybe even a sample set? Hmm?

I love the sense of something tall and strong.

Taken on the side of a 4 lane divided highway encircling Tallahassee. While waiting for the AAA to come open my truck which had my keys locked securely inside. So I could take my time trying to take this week's challenge pictures. Which I will post tomorrow.

Wish I could own the house in the photograph, and wish it would be me riding away to my home.
