Ian and Dave's bikes have Pelican bags: benefit is they're strong and water proof. Abe and Jes' (me) biks has Jesse bags, an older model with top/side opennings that makes for great access. We've had to reinforce the bottom front corners from griding when we turn just a little too steep. The Mag's bag back is perfect storage, but no, they're not quite water-proof.
