i designed a package for 2 slices of cake for a tea company, along with the 2 slices you receive a napkin =)
When we went to the supermarket in our last trip to London, we've noticed that, "Our packaging project could go to next level". This second edition has one more variation and now, we are showing all brand names with simple text & same font, without logo or corporate sign in it. The font is Helvetica Neu Bold. Our question is similar with the question in our first post!
What is your choice in these 4 different variations?
1. Original variation
2. Simple variation
3. More simple variation
4. No logo variation

I think this is my first two tiered package cake. They wanted it done in pastel, springlike colors, which was nice to do on such a dreary day!
Thanks you to the most awesome hapa02 for sending us the cool package full of goodies. We just love everything. Thank you so so much :D
a package is headed to my penpal in oregon...
i am working to become a professional penpal...
anyone interested?
This package was such a pleasure to open! Just look at her nice lettering and illustrations- I was absolutely giddy to get this in the mail.
A condom package floating in the gator pond (who knew they used protection?) I also noticed after I got home that there's a damselfly perched on grass right over it, probably thinking "damn, he's HUGE!"
Product packaging is essential to preventing food waste along the value chain, from preventing breakages to avoiding spoilage and contamination. We optimise the weight and volume of our packaging, lead the development and use of material from sustainably-managed renewable resources, support initiatives to recycle or recover energy from used packaging, and use recycled materials wherever there is an environmental benefit and it is appropriate.

The 2013 Anna Toddler Doll is compared to the newly released 2014 Anna Animators' Doll. They are both new in unopened boxes, placed side by side. Photographed in daylight.
The newly releaseed Disney Animators' Collection Anna 16'' Doll, from Frozen. Co-produced by the Disney Store and Disney Parks. Collage of photos of the boxed doll, from all sides. Purchased in Disneyland on Sunday March 16, 2014. $29.95, SKU 400007750623. She appears to be identical to the previously released Anna Frozen Toddler Doll, but in new packaging that makes it part of the Disney Animators' Collection. Not yet available online, but already seen in some Disney Stores.
My Visit to Disneyland Resort (Anaheim) on Sunday March 16, 2014
I went to the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney, and checked out the Frozen section. They had the new Disney Parks reversible Anna and Elsa plush doll. It looked very pretty, so I got one. They had the Animators' Anna doll, but sold out of the Elsa doll. I got the Anna doll, even though it looks identical to the Frozen Anna toddler doll that I already have. The only difference is the packaging. They had some new clothing for children. They had just a handful of the Deluxe Frozen Prints left, so I got one, as a spare. In the collectibles section they had a couple of Disneyland ride figures I haven't seen before, and the Lenox Belle's Wedding Dreams figure was back. I also got a new style Nightmare Before Christmas t-shirt, which had images of most of the main cast members.
In Disneyland Park, it was moderately busy. It was very warm and sunny, in the mid-eighties and approaching 90 degrees. In the China Shop, they also had the Lenox Beauty and the Beast figure in stock. I got a good score in the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride, but the system didn't save my score, and the leader board wasn't functioning. In the LGM Command Store, they had the open edition Frozen pins still in stock, both the snowflake Anna and Elsa pin, and the Booster Pack. I got a couple of the snowflake pins. I also asked to see their selection of Limited Edition pins, and lucked out on some pins I might not have otherwise gotten. My favorite of them is the A Piece of Disneyland History it's a small world pin, which I thought was sold out (as it was nowhere to be found last Sunday). I leave the park after eating lunch at the Plaza Inn.
The CD packaging has a perforated seal that. It is made from 300 gsm black Cranford stock. The folding design is an known paper net that I have adapted.

When you are preparing your items for #shipping, it is essential for the integrity of the #package to use sturdy boxes, shipping tape, dividers, and softening materials to fill in empty spaces in the box. One has to be aware of how to pack their goods and what techniques to use. What is more, different types of goods such as clothes, fragile items, electronics, and so on have different packaging requirements.
Overall, several packaging guidelines are useful for #packing all types of goods. Making sure to choose high-quality packaging supplies produced with integrity in mind can often be a deciding point in whether the parcel will arrive at its destination in the right conditions or not. This is especially important for businesses as packaged goods is a constant aspect of most businesses. It needs to be sound and efficient as it will save money both for the company and for the person receiving the package.
1. Know your Product
First off, packaging goods depend entirely on what time of item it is. When designing the #packaging norm go along with the products and what it requires for a safe journey. Add your #branding to considerate places so that it does not obstruct the criteria for moving along the delivery chain. Additionally, make the packaging of the goods pleasing to the eye as that will make it much more likely for the client to reuse it. Touches like that help establish a relationship between the company and the client.
2. Talk to your Clients
Being aware of your clients' preferences and needs is essential. When redesigning the packaging of the product itself, it is better to follow the preferences of the consumers buying them. Reshaping the package might make it difficult to grip for seniors, for example.
3. Know the Measurements
Shipping costs increase and decrease depending on the measurement and dimensions of the shipment. The more space you take up, the more it will cost and vice versa. Take that in mind when redesigning the packaging of the #product to make it weigh less if possible and make it more compact so you do not waste any space and #money.
4. Stay up to Date with Criteria
A few shipping companies changed their criteria and charges in early 2017. Business always has to stay on top of such changes and calculate their costs ahead of time. If you are redesigning the packaging, take such changes into consideration.
5. Wood vs. Composite
Wooden crates provide a lot of security to the shipping but also raise the costs significantly. Composite is a lighter material, but it is still sturdy and provides the shipment with necessary security. Consider using composite to reduce costs.
6. Less can be More
In some cases, the types of products allow for the packaging to be made to them thus reducing the wasted space and cost. Other products are sturdy on their own and can take lighter packaging. Know your products well and treat them accordingly.
7. Stacking
Stacking specifications can help you reduce the palette space you are using. Some products can be stacked while others cannot. Consider rearranging products to work out a tidier and more cost-effective system of tacking.
8. Check Durability
The sturdier the packaging, the better. Check the packaging supplies of choice to make sure they are appropriate to use.
Today we received a package from the very awesome hapa02. Thank you so much for all our great gifts. The girls just love their new outfits
