"Guilty Pleasure" (PACKAGING COOKIES)
In the past, cookies were something very special. People only ate them when there was a party. Cookies were too expensive to eat every day. Nowadays, people eat a lot of cookies. The Dutch eat an average of sixteen kilos of cookies per year. That is about 64 packets, bags or boxes of cookies. That is why a lot of cookies are baked. And not just one type, but thirty different types. Because tastes simply differ.

Both images I edited in the same way (raw converter and Luminar 4). This one, however, was shot as a JPEG, and as close as I could get. Lead pipes, sheet lead, zinc wire.

The Smile on Saturday group’s theme for today 4/16 is “funny packaging”. These are two that came up when I did a search for packaging pictures I had taken — since they were already on Flickr, they weren’t really eligible but they’re fun!…… yes, these are little bottles of nail polish probably for putting into an Easter basket and are Flickr colors!!
