Pablo and Picasso were brothers. Pablo was a beautiful boy!!
This was one of the first time Picasso and Pablo were outside, so they had to wear a cat harness.

Maternity by Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973) was an artistic virtuoso who co-founded Cubism, and produced an astounding 20,000 paintings, prints, drawings and sculptures during his brilliant 70-year career. Picasso’s unparalleled body of work was so vast, and its phases so unique, that art historians have divided it into specific periods. A child prodigy, Picasso took advanced classes at the Royal Academy of Art in Barcelona when he was only 15. His revolutionary Cubist works, with their distorted shapes and fragmented forms, established art as a genre that does not need to literally represent reality. Zealously embracing every medium from primitive art to sketches to Surrealism, Picasso had an unrivaled influence upon 20th century art.
Picasso spent the summer of 1906 in Spain, where he produced a group of still lifes to which this painting belongs. Prior to this the artist had not been attracted by still life as an independent genre, but from now on it was to occupy a firm place in his work. This first look at still life was evidence of Picasso's growing interest in revealing the constructional essence of his subject. In this simple composition, of classical clarity, each object exists within its own spatial zone whilst being subordinate both to the strict compositional overall rhythm and to the rationale of confrontation and interaction.
Volume is brought to the fore and this in turn leads to a change in colouring, now built up of reddish-browns, yellowish-reds and greyish-white hues. This tonality, like the clear composition, gives the still life a sense of monumentality and unity.

ESA's newly selected astronaut candidates of the class of 2022 arrived at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, on 3 April 2023 to begin their 12-month basic training.
The group of five candidates, Sophie Adenot, Pablo Álvarez Fernández, Rosemary Coogan, Raphaël Liégeois, and Marco Sieber, are part of the 17-member astronaut class of 2022, selected from 22 500 applicants from across ESA Member States in November 2022.
The astronaut candidates will be trained to the highest level of standards in preparation for future space missions. During basic training, this includes learning all about space exploration, technical and scientific disciplines, space systems and operations, as well as spacewalk and survival training.
This image shows the candidate Pablo Álvarez Fernández on his first day at the European Astronaut Centre, ready to embark on their journey to become certified ESA astronauts.
