Although Rusty hates thunderstorms and fireworks, he is not afraid of the vacuum cleaner. Quite the contrary - he has to monitor its every move!
That night I got a dinner with my family, before food come I shot at the floor because I love this pattern very much!
Actually, this pattern is very general in Macau at 1970s,but this almost extinct now.

The local shops were a busy place. From left to right, there was a counter where people could get a quick take-away snack. Next door was a butcher's shop. They also sold a wonderful assortment of half a dozen different types of eggs. I wouldn't care to guess beyond chickens, ducks and quail. Moving along, there was a grocer's shop and closest at the right hand end was a restaurant for sit-down meals.
You can also see an infant being taken for a stroll by a couple I presumed to be the grandparents. This was such a common sight during the day - I imagine that the norm is that both parents work. Or perhaps the Chinese have the oldest parents of any country that I have visited?
Photograph taken immediately west of the BJGICC, within the grounds of the China University of Geosciences - Beijing campus.
Beijing, China.
Phone 4 - Photograph taken with the camera on an iPhone 4.
Camera - The native camera app was used with the HDR option.
Filterstorm - Opened the photograph in the native Photos app on my iPad3. Copied the image, opened the Filterstorm app, pasted the contents of the clipboard, and saved a copy of the image to the Camera Roll. This manoeuvre simplified the subsequent processing by having this copy as the most recent image in the Camera Roll.
Snapseed - Structure and Ambience filters applied. Overall lighting adjustments carried out.
Photo fx - Color-Grad "Cool Blue" filter applied.
Superimpose - Produced a mask for the sky region using the Magic Wand tool. Blended the Photo fx output with the Snapseed output to isolate the addition of blue color to the sky region.
Photoshop Express - Noise reduction and Sharpening filters applied with manual settings.
Snapseed - Some final small overall lighting adjustments applied.
ExifEditor - EXIF data from the original photograph transferred to the final image.

I’ve been on holidays for 17 days and have to return to work tomorrow. My expression says it all - I am not happy about going back.
Having arrived at Beijing Airport (Terminal 2) at 5 minutes to midnight the previous evening, just about the first thing that I did the next morning was to step outside the BJGICC and try to work out (literally) "Where in the world am I?"
With an iPhone, there are a number of ways to do this. One of the easiest is to open an app that utilises geo-location information such as the "Theodolite" app. The screen display in this app shows the time, location, and direction information in a nice simple format. This was a screenshot taken by simultaneously pressing the Home button and the On/Off button. There are many other ways that this information can be exported and shared from this excellent app.
The front steps of the BJGICC are on the right, and the view straight ahead disappears into the smog that was an almost constant presence during my stay in Beijing.
