This New Wal-Mart Supercenter at the New Wyoming Mall in the Mid-Northeast Heights area of Albuquerque, New Mexico appears to be just days away from its grand opening, and, I'm really looking forward to that, as Wal-Mart is my favorite place to shop, and It's pretty close to my house, albeit not as close as the old-school Mini Wal-Mart in the Far Northeast Heights area, but, I will still be more than willing to drive a few more miles to this brand new, state of the art store, as these Wal-Mart Supercenters usually have a far larger variety of inventory than the old Mini Wal-Marts, of which the one right by my house in the Far Northeast Heights is now the only Mini Wal-Mart left in Albuquerque, since all the other Mini ones have been converted into supercenters, thankfully, and, I sure hope that the Mini Wal-Mart in the Far Northeast Heights gets converted into a Supercenter soon, though, unfortunately, I don't think it ever will, since it is right next door to a Smith's Supermarket, which is a pretty good store also, and, we also shop there as well quite often, and might still do it occasionally even after the New Wal-Mart Supercenter pictured here opens, though the Supercenter will likely become my main place to shop at any rate. However, I'm not so sure the rest of the family would be willing to drive a little ways longer to the Supercenter, but I certainly don't mind at all. Also, the new Supercenter is in a very bustling, urban, and centralized location in the city of Albuquerque, close to where much of the new retail real estate development is taking place, namely the vast new ABQ Uptown outdoor mall, as well as the upcoming, and much needed, redevelopment of the old Winrock Mall, not to mention the aging, but still quite popular, Coronado Mall, and, I basically just like the way in which much of the major retail centers in Albuquerque's eastside are being clustered together, kind of like the way the West Side of Albuquerque is, with Cottonwood Mall surrounded by other large retail development, including another, older, but recently renovated, Wal-Mart Supercenter, as well as a Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, and Sam's Club, among others, all clustered aroung Cottonwood Mall On Albuquerque's West Side. However, the New Retail Development Clusters in the East Side of Albuquerque are generally rather upscale, and, considering the current economic recession, they are holding up pretty well, as is the whole Albuquerque Metro Area, as well as pretty much the whole state of New Mexico. Aiperi Omurzakova, a 28 year-old mother of three from Osh, spends every spare second working on her start-up enterprise, Som.kg. In November 2018, she pioneered a local version of Craigslist, a free classifieds website.
At first, Aiperi could only afford a shipping container as an office space, but then ololohausOsh came across her radar. ololohausOsh is a creative coworking space in the city center providing its residents all necessary amenities such as office furniture and Wi-Fi.
"When I moved here, I acquired more customers, because here in Osh, people really pay attention to how your office looks. If it's beautiful, they are impressed and ready to trust you. Now I also have two employees", Aiperi says.

Breakout Session: How Energy Can Spark Global Prosperity
Despite progress in the fight against extreme poverty, 1.3 billion people worldwide cannot access reliable, affordable energy—a crippling barrier to achieving prosperity. Without consistent energy services, hospitals cannot function, children cannot learn after dark, women spend hours gathering firewood, and families cook on toxic cook stoves that have led to 4.3 million deaths a year from respiratory disease. By creating greater access to energy sources that are reliable, clean, and affordable, we help families and communities to improve their opportunities for education, health, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation. We also enable businesses and governments that invest in energy to better capitalize on these opportunities, spurring greater, more sustainable economic growth.
In this session, leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors will discuss how CGI members can:
• Scale and replicate proven off-grid renewable energy solutions—such as solar and wind—and focus on implementing them in hard-to-reach areas.
• Support a new wave of entrepreneurs living in energy-impoverished communities.
• Improve the storage capacity of current off-grid energy solutions.

As-Salaam Palace is located on the site of the former Republican Guard Headquarters, which was destroyed in Operation Desert Storm. Construction of the Palace began shortly after the conclusion of the war. The destroyed Republican Guard was built in 1928 by the British as the home for the King of Iraq.
Begun while sanctions were in effect, construction of the four-story palace and lush grounds was completed in September 1999 at a cost of about $100 million. It was used primarily to house foreign dignitaries, and was located just off the Qadissiya Expressway which runs from the airport to the IZ area. The 814,000- square meter complex included orchards (orange, lime, date and other fruit trees), a series of artificial pools, lakes, and ponds, outdoor patios with freestanding hearths, and related out-buildings.
The United States attacked the palace by air in 2003, hitting it with seven guided bombs. The evidence of those strikes is readily apparent today in the ravaged dome and upper floors. Looters struck next, making off with everything including the toilets.
In mid-September 2004, as part of an Army-wide effort to give its facilities around Baghdad friendlier connotations, and try to resolve the issue of constantly-changing facility names, the old name Camp Highlander was renamed FOB Prosperity, with its Arabic equivalent "Camp al-Izdehar".

Northcentral Technical College President Dr. Lori Weyers introduces Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue during a Rural Prosperity Task Force Listening Session at the Northcentral Technical College, with local elected officials, industry leaders in broadband, Farm Bureau members, 4-H, and local farmers., on Aug. 4, 2017. Along the way, Perdue will meet with farmers, ranchers, foresters, producers, students, governors, Members of Congress, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) employees, and other stakeholders. This is the first of two RV tours the secretary will undertake this summer. “The ‘Back to our Roots’ Farm Bill and rural prosperity RV listening tour will allow us to hear directly from people in agriculture across the country, as well as our consumers – they are the ones on the front lines of American agriculture and they know best what the current issues are,” Perdue said. “USDA will be intimately involved as Congress deliberates and formulates the 2018 Farm Bill. We are committed to making the resources and the research available so that Congress can make good facts-based, data-driven decisions. It’s important to look at past practices to see what has worked and what has not worked, so that we create a farm bill for the future that will be embraced by American agriculture in 2018.” This first RV Tour will feature stops in five states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana. For social media purposes, Secretary Perdue’s Twitter account (@SecretarySonny) will be using the hashtag #BackToOurRoots. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.

With budget constraints, we need to radically re-think how we deliver government services. Technological power marches on, but we are not thinking enough about how technology could streamline government performance. The power of technology to allow government services to run faster and better is unparalleled and this is the right moment to focus on these issues.
Please join us for discussions on lessons learned from spending and budgets for the federal government and leveraging technology and business model innovation for efficiency across the commercial and governmental sectors.
