Planting Prosperity Program Grant in the US

The California Department of Social Services’ Office of Child Abuse Prevention is pleased to announce the release of the Planting Prosperity Program Request for Applications (RFA).
Grantees must provide an innovative primary or secondary child abuse prevention program in California directly or through competitively-awarded micro-grants or subcontracts with community-based/neighborhood-level organizations that will operate new innovative prevention programs or which currently operate innovative primary prevention programs.
Funding Information
Source of Funds: The Planting Prosperity Program grants are supported by federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) funds provided through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
Funding Cycle and Duration: October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2025
Projected Funds Available: Up to $100,000 per year in total federal funds per grantee. This grant will provide limited-term funding for a maximum of three years and will not be renewable.
Eligibility Criteria
Funding for this grant opportunity may not be used for the expansion of current OCAP-funded programs.
Applicants must have demonstrated the ability to successfully partner with key stakeholders, communities, and/or state, county, or tribal government agencies.
Applicants must be trauma-informed.

The Index, which has been endorsed by Chancellor George Osborne, ranks 142 countries in terms of wealth and wellbeing.
