"After despair, many hopes flourish just as after darkness thousands of suns open and start to shine." Rumi
Seen from the Magic Attic the other night - always a glorious view.
Enjoy the music of Loreena McKennitt and the words of Rumi - just ... relax.

Hope you are all having a Sunny Sunday. It's cloudy and blowy here - refreshing nonetheless LOL.
"O for a muse of fire, that would ascend. The brightest heaven of invention: A kingdom for a stage, princes to act, and Monarchs to behold the swelling scene."

A revisit to a favourite location for a quick wander before heading back down the M6 to home. For the briefest of moments the light got interesting

Location: 3 mi. off the coast of Shikoku, Japan. The HMS Huntress.
Year: 2043
Mon/Day: Sept. 3
Time: 1700 hrs.
Briefing given by SSGT. Holmer previous to insert:
"This is an intelligence recovery mission. No questions asked, and no answers will be given as to the intent of the commissioning party. We're at a level seven. All you need to know is that we got orders from the head-shed asking us to get together a team that could deploy into a black hole if necessary. That team is you. Apparently the HMS Huntress seems to have lost contact with the mainland, and the big boys back home, and they are none too pleased. We haven't been able to access any more data then what you have in the folders before you. That's what makes this thing dangerous. Eerie even. We don't know who, or what has been scrambling our radar and intel-gathering efforts. In fact, The Huntress would be all but off-the-grid if we didn't have a 24/7-hour drone-watch on this thing. We do know this however, whatever it is, they're good at what they do. So it could be nothing much, or it could really be something big. Like I said, we don't know what were up against. So get ready to suit up for for anything. Your insert will take place at 1700 hours. We'll have a Firenight Seven waiting for your extract. Operation Deadfall is a go." -End of brief

So this is it! Eric and my's first prologue to our upcoming Flood series! We will hopefully be posting more stuff soon, so keep an eye out! Although I started out on this scene alone, it became more of a collaborative effort as we kept adding detail. Credit for photography goes to Eric as well! Remember guys, Jesus loves you and is just waiting for you to come to Him! God bless!

a prologue to "5008", a new Art Project by Willem Van Den Hoed.
This is a Teaser trailer from my collaboration with this incredible creator.
"Like a glowing jewel, the city lay upon the breast of the desert. Once it had known change and alteration, but now Time passed it by. Night and day fled across the desert's face, but in the streets of Diaspar it was always afternoon, and darkness never came. The long winter nights might dust the desert with frost, as the last moisture left in the thin air of Earth congealed - but the city knew neither heat nor cold. It had no contact with the outer world; it was a universe itself.
Men had built cities before, but never a city such as this. Some had lasted for centuries, some for millennia, before Time had swept away even their names. Diaspar alone had challenged Eternity, defending itself and all it sheltered against the slow attrition of the ages, the ravages of decay, and the corruption of rust.
Since the city was built, the oceans of Earth had passed away and the desert had encompassed all the globe. The last mountains had been ground to dust by the winds and the rain, and the world was too weary to bring forth more. The city did not care; Earth itself could crumble and Diaspar would still protect the children of its makers, bearing them and their treasures safely down the stream of time."
prologue from 'The City and the Stars' by Arthur C. Clarke (1956)
SO excited to upload more from this shoot! my best friend and personal model, katie, and i broke into a crazy awesome abandoned high school and had the photoshoot of a lifetime. i can't even begin to tell you how cool this place was. katie is such a trooper, too- she let me boss her around while she was wearing heavy dresses in this filthy building in the awful south georgia heat and every picture turned out amazing.
This is the start of a new series...thanks everyone for all of the positive feedback on the Taco Bell series.
Hello everybody this is Alex THELEGOFAN here with a new vignette series of my favorite game : Batman Arkham Knight😄😄

Gordon: This is how it happened...
This is how the Batman died.
Nine months ago Joker was cremated? I pressed the button and burnt the evil bastard myself.
And then... we waited. Gotham braced itself for the inevitable power struggle. But it didn't come; crime actually fell. Deep down, I knew war was coming...
I was just waiting for someone to pull the trigger.
Officer Owens: Thanks.
Waitress: No problem.
Oh, thanks, honey.
So what'll it be? The usual?
Officer Owens: Sure.
Waitress: OK, chicken salad with no dressing.
Officer Owens: No, you know what, make it waffles... with a side of bacon. Don't tell my wife.
Waitress: Whatever you say, officer.
Oh if you want some more coffee, just shout.
Civilian: Hey I'm sorry to interrupt your dinner, officer... Owens... but there's a guy smoking over there in the corner booth.
Officer Owens: Wait here. I'll have a word.
Excuse me, sir. There's smoking in here.
💀😱🔪
Scarecrow: This demonstration used just 5 ounces of my latest toxin.
Tomorrow, this will seem like child's play.
Gotham, this is your only warning.
Next bus!
Gordon: Scarecrow's threat worked.
Yesterday, there were 6.3 million people in Gotham City.
Today...
...Not so many.
The only people left on the streets are the sort that enjoy the chaos.
Penguin: Gotham's finest.
Gordon: Scum...
Criminals...
And worse.
Not enough good people left to stop them.
So, what do you think ? I hope you liked it and please comment ! And please liked it because it took me a lot of time to put the cheese slopes for the floor👍
