Just started working on this. Have the basics for the first part of the progression. Still needs some work. But I am glad that I found a VST plugin that works for Cakewalk, as that opens the huge library of soundfonts I've not been able to play with since the 2015 disaster that busted my first Toshiba laptop. Things are looking even better now.

Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx
Apologies for the quality of the audio on this - I've had to bodge this together. I made a slideshow using online software but I couldn't save it in a usable format, so instead I had to play it on the PC screen while filming it on my iphone.
It is somewhat self-indulgent, so apologies for that also, lol.
A collection of pictures from my first emergence, right through up to the end of July this year. Loads of different looks, outfits, places and people. Personally, I can't watch this without being reduced to joyful tears!
The music, 'This Is Me', from The Greatest Showman, is the perfect track and is somewhat of a trans anthem. Rightly so. As the lyrics go:
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies
This is me!
In most cases, I do a series of drawings or sketches of my intended subject before creating a mosaic. In this case, the progression was drawing, linoleum cut, mosaic.
I finally got my computer back. I'm so pumped. The last five days have been so full of anxiety because I haven't been able to post.
However, the silver lining is that I was able to spend some real time on a photograph. I could have even spent more, but it's almost 4am and I have to work in the morning.
This was the first idea I wrote down for this project back in January. I'm really glad to see it come to life. This piece makes me happy.
Big big thanks goes out to my friend Dylan for clothing only his loins in a public park and acting like a fool for the camera. He also made that loin cloth too, did a great f*ing job.
Lastly, thanks to Dylan's dog for being rad.
This is the rest of the sunset on Friday! Note that these were not taken on the bayou but at a park in an open field! Framing??? They could all be better framed but since there is nothing there but open field it is the sky that is the most interesting part of the scene and so that is why I have included as much sky as possible in each shot! It’s just difficult to believe that the Egg Drop Soup turned into the sky in the Grand Finale! At one point I just figured that the whole thing was dying and thought about packing up all of my gear and heading home! Figured that I would stick it out and see what developed! There were some subtle colors behind me but nothing close to what was being displayed by the clouds where the sun was setting!

No trip to the Burg would be complete without venturing to the rural section of the eastern Pittsburgh line just west of Marysville. We are just west of Cove where the old intermediate signals used to be prior to the PTC upgrades.
This image of Millwall Inner Dock at sunset was another that I’d been planning for a few months, but one that required an evening with just the right amount of cloud cover, and a very low wind speed to allow me to capture a clear reflection in the water.
The aim was to convey the progression from late-afternoon sunshine to dusk, and then the onset of blue hour. The final result incorporates multiple long exposures (including one that ran to 10 minutes), capturing traces of each stage to the end of the day, from the sunlight striking the Citigroup Centre and Pan Peninsula Square to the evening lights across the Docklands, and a smooth transition of colours in the sky as the sun vanished behind the horizon.

so, this where i'm at as of last night. gave myself the day off today, but now my nose is back to the grindstone cutting the next colour...(they aren't necessarily staying in this order...)
An eastbound behind SD40-2 5129 heads in to Summit Valley near MP 54 as a w/b, probably the westbound Harbor train, fades into the distance. The class lights have already been removed from 5129, and very soon, that bright red caboose will also be moving along into history.
i've been asked, so .... when i saw how ida was looking at me, in the upper left image (i'm sure she was wondering where my mind had drifted off to) my minds eye came up with the previous image in the photostream (see comments) .... and the above images kinda show the progression from reality to the lack of reality my mind seems to thrive on ... lol .... anyway, i like balloons and it seemed reasonable to use one to start re-assembling my head ... then add a few clouds, some textures, a lonely seagull and toss a few drops of orton about, and something new emerges ... simple, huh?
enjoy the rest of the weekend, and GO NINERS !!!
