A quick escape on Lazy Sunday proved rewarding when the skies above me in North Bend, Wa opened up nearing sunset. Not that we had a real destination, my friend and I ended up along this trail and I noticed this comp with a pasture puddle. With fresh snow and storm clouds abound, Mt Si catches some rays and a reflection.

ahhh the smell of spring has begun, flowers are blooming everywhere. the world seems pretty good right now

Unfortunately my friend is down with the latest version of this contagion so we won’t be able to reunite on my short visit to the PNW. This was taken a few years ago near Port Townsend, WA. A shoot from the hip shot that makes me smile every time I see it.

Yeah, I know it's fall right now (at least here in Portland). But cherry trees always seem in season.
