I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant turquoise in the icicles this morning. I haven't been out here in late winter before. I imagine this effect increases as the frost builds up. One of my favorite places close to home.
This weeks SNS is once again the lens work of Greg Stadter. BN 844 leads an A-B-B-A set of Wagons at Willbridge in August 1975. Chuck Schwesinger collection.
Traveling with my old photos on these days in social distancing.
I love benches, they make me feel calm somehow.
Stay safe my friends!
They keep getting better and better!
At this time of year in the Pacific Northwest the sun sets far south of this view. But this scene, over mountains in the Olympic National Forest, really caught my eye.
Cropped and tuned up 20JUL25.

Hi friends I will be out soon traveling so I will be slowing down my activity, disappearing for a while haha and then coming back in a couple of weeks.
I will miss you!
I will catch up when I return.
Happy summer or winter! I will be enjoying your photos when I come back.
And thanks all for your support during my first year at Flickr. I really enjoy sharing my journey with you.
Happy to see Wahclella Falls again after the trail was re-opened on August this year after 2 years closure due to Eagle Creek Fire (Sep 2017).
There are still a lot of trees and vegetation recovering after the fire but Nature is still beautiful and it's showing it off like these Falls.
Thanks to all that work hard to make this trail ready again for us.
One of several waterfalls you can walk behind at Silver Falls State Park. It was a wonderful morning shooting with @pnw.zack and @montyuf 🍂

I love Pacific Northwest. Yes, the gray gloomy winter can be seasonally depressing. But every once in a while when the sun shines, it’s worth to be reminded that, the rain is what keeps this place green and full of wonders. Can’t wait to come back here in the spring.
