Pyjamas using Simplicity 2738 It's So Easy. Age 5 for my 4 year old. Slightly too tight, so I will be removing the buttons and replacing them with velcro or something similar. Her choice of fabric and pattern.
Nothing like having matching PJs with your sweet daughter! This is probably the first time I've smiled in a week.
I made her a pair of PJ pants from some floral knit fabric my aunt sent me and an altered Adams-Harris tights pattern
The pillow and phone are from a Generation Girls playset from Target. And Zeus the plush pup is from Kmart
if only they would decide to cuddle like this (all on their own i might add) when they weren't rag-a-muffins.
a mom can dream can't she? :)
sunday afternoon... laying in bed... never out of the PJs all day... watching matrix... what else can you ask for? :)
oh, i know... it NOT being -17ºC (2ºF) outside would be nice... :P
I've been afraid to try sewing something to wear. I'm not good with paper patterns - they just confuse with all those lines and stuff. So I cut some of the husband's boxers up and traced round them to make myself some little shorties for bedtime.
Ok, the tie is a bit on the crazy long side. I can cut that down. Otherwise they are pretty good!
His drawer is full of sleepers for the cold winter nights, but he's starting to outgrow them. And then Christa pointed me to a really good clothing store for kids that just happened to have a cute pair of dinosaur PJs on sale. So I snapped 'em up.
The only problem? For some reason, he demanded that we put his shoes on. So he ran around in the basement for an hour wearing PJs and his brown shoes. Funny combo, yes. But it made him happy.
This sucks, I don't care, I have no time. I just wanted to announce that audition results came back today, I got third chair of four...and Dennis got fourth. ;D Kyle didn't make it in, I'm a little bummed, but I beat out four or five other people for my spot, HELLS YEAH. So now I'm comfortable in my pajamas because my clothes are soaked from snowshoe dodgeball in a snowstorm today, it was actually really fun but I kept falling because I suck at walking in snowshoes. Running, hah, I'm on my feet for about three steps and I trip. Whatevs. Also, Paul remembered my number without asking [he got a new phone today and I was like awwwyay!] and I had Teddy Grahms.
Now. Off to do two essays, read twenty-something pages, thirty-plus review questions and then who knows what insanity for calculus. Midterm week, blegh.
