Today was work, gym, packing and finally PJs! One more day of work before we leave for Hawaii! A HUGE adventure awaits...
forty two of 365 and 2 of 7 for SPs (sorta)
Made with print and solid flannel. I decided to use ric rac rather than the ruffle. The ric rac is added like piping around the facing, pocket bands, pant cuffs, and waistband.
Using Made-by-rae Flashback Skinny Tee pattern for the top and Titchy Threads Fancy Pants leggings for the bottom.
(And also got this vintage set of PJs) Finally, I have a garment to properly showcase my chest hair. #pjs #pajamas #halloween #vintage #oldmanchic #pumpkins #vintagehalloween
This photo shows 3 PJs. There are many more! Baby not included :)
We have a box of boy's clothes for 40 euros. The swim nappy alone is worth 18 euros if you buy it new. It's only been used twice.
SIZES: In our experience, the vast majority of these clothes will fit a baby of between 5-8 months. The sizes on the label are very diverse, ranging from 3 months to 2 years old. A few pieces are on the bigger side and may fit a 9-10 month old but I'm getting rid of them because we have too many clothes!
The box contains:
4 jackets (1 very warm; 1 fleece, 1 light jean jacket; 1 knit green jacket)
1 Swim Nappy (Monkey Doodlez, size medium - it's the one seen here: bit.ly/UYu75f)
1 Beatrix Potter one-piece fleece suit (good for in the stroller on cold days; tag says 9 months)
1 Disney / H&M fleece suit, "Tigger" on the front; ears on the hood - super cute!
8 PJs (one Baby Gap, one Gerber brand; one Old Navy; size on labels ranges from 6-9 months to 2 years)
3 overalls (1 Hema size 74; 1 H&M size 74; other says 3 months or 60cm)
1 one-piece outfit (Carters, red, 6 months old)
11 trousers / pants from brands such as Carters, Gymboree, Hema, Baby Gap, C&A (tags say size 68/74, and 6-12 months)
10 onesies (size 62/68)
1 McGregor sweater
8 long-sleeve shirts
5 t-shirts
2 bibs
8 pairs socks (including some with cute rattles on the ends of the feet - great when baby is discovering his toes!)
1 hat
1 pair Prenatal shoes (size 20)
Love this pattern. It sewed up like a dream. As is evident in the photo, there is a TON of ease. I normally don't mind when my PJs are super long, but I definitely had to hem these suckers to fit my height because I kept tripping over the super wide baggy pants. But the extra ease means these are the perfect lounge around the house pants.
Blogged about here.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: These pajamas are lethal--they will kill you with their cuteness. Seriously, of all the American Girl pajamas ever made, and the ones in my collection, these are easily my favorites. Yes that even factors in my historical gals' nightgowns and pajamas. I just love everything about these pajamas, from the styling to the penguin print. They are very festive indeed, but I also feel like they could be worn the entire winter season. The shirt could be worn anytime of the year, even as a regular top (not just to bed). Speaking of the shirt, it is my favorite part of this bedtime ensemble. I love how sporty it looks with the number 10 and the lines on the sleeves. It's the kind of top I would buy for myself if given the opportunity. Luckily for my American Girls, I could never fit myself into their top. The pajama bottoms are nice and tight, which means that they tuck into the slippers perfectly. I love how they are light blue, instead of pink light the top. However, the pink and red coloring of the top is accented by the pink and red coloring of the gift boxes on the pants. Then of course are the snugly slippers. They are so simple yet festive. They are red and white, which totally remind me of Santa. They even have adorable, light pink bows on them. I just can't get over how the whole outfit coordinates perfectly without coming across as too "matchy." I personally don't care for matching pajama sets in real life (although they are sweet on dolls). On top of the bundle of cuteness that these jammies are made from, they are also the softest, cuddliest things ever. I'm sure they will keep my American Girl dolls warm for years to come!
92079 was a Riddles 2-10-0 standard class 9F, it left Crewe works 30/04/1956 and went to Toton, it only stayed a month before moving to Bromsgrove and becoming the Lickey banking engine. During it's early banking career it was fitted with the huge headlight from 58100, by the time this was taken it had been removed. Withdrawal happened in November 1967 by which time it had migrated to Birkenhead Mollington Street. 92079 is performing the banking duty in this winter picture taken at Vigo on January 16th 1960.

Malibu PJs & Caras: Sun Set Malibu PJ (in Ende 80er/Anfang 90er Wäsche), Olympic Gold Medal PJ (im Sydney Olympia Outfit), Ballerina Cara, Superstar Christie, Free Moving Cara (2x)
Sewed these using a vintage pattern, can't locate it right now. Found a very soft and comfy fabric on ebay!
This is probably the second and last time she ever had PJ's on. We just had to show the kind neighbors around my wife's family cabin that she is a tough rugged pit bull.
Matching pjs on Christmas Eve
I'm sure I only have another year or two before this is through so I'm rolling with it for as long as I can!
I used the pjs pattern for this tracksuit for little man to go and see his big brother play soccer.
It was very easy as the legs are already long enough to include elastic, I used linen shirt front and added a bit of length for elastic on jacket and sleeve

I love to go outside in my pj's in the summer. It always makes me think of summertime with my grandma. When we were growing up, she used to let us sit on the deck, early in the morning in our pj's, and then she would bring us eggs, and toast. Often we'd end up going for a swim in the lake in them too...

Our Daily Challenge ~ Odd for 10.17.12.
I always thought it odd to see women walking around town in their PJ's, but this shot was boring, so I'm pretending She was sleep walking. At least She has an excuse now, thanks to me :))
