Everyone meet Pip. She is a delicate soul with fierce untameable hair! She prefers the company of books and the smell of their pages.

This is Pip Woody... the male of a pair of Hairy Woodpeckers that have made our woods home. He is named Pip, his mate Squeak, because of the sound they make when they come in to get treats from the feeder.
Here is a link to the Cornell University page... you can hear just what Pip and Squeak sound like.

Entered by former sidecar World Champion Eric Oliver, Pip Harris raced his first Sidecar TT in 1954 and had been 3rd and 2nd in 1955/6, but 1957 wasn't to be his year. Having clipped the bank of lap four, the HArris/Campbell - Norton/Watsonian - partnership was forced to retire. What a treat it must have been for lucky residents who had only to open their front doors, get out a chair and enjoy the races.

PRECIOSA ORNELA presents the new PRECIOSA Pip™ pressed bead from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand.
The bead’s dimensions of 5 x 7 mm comply with the current trend for mini beads. The axially symmetric flattened shape of the small core enables the realisation of half metal coating on both sides of the bead with the resulting effect of an overall decoration. The strung beads fit together tightly and create an interlocking zip effect. Six beads connected in a circle can easily be used to create an application in the shape of a flat flower which is a suitable accessory for seed bead embroidery. Thanks to its small protrusion, this bead is an excellent accessory to the two-hole PRECIOSA Twin™ beads and seed beads, like PRECIOSA Solo™.

If these plans go through we stand a very good chance of succeeding in gaining full approval from the States for the works to begin. Then we just need a builder.
