Partner, this isn't for you, but since my last pouch came out so wonky, I needed to practice! Yours will be this shape, but instead of the Pips, I'll use linen and Echino.

I made this cushion for my niece, Ava, for her sixth birthday. Fabric is Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey for Moda and medium pink bella solid. I mitred the outer stripey scarf border and it's backed with more scarves and some scooter girls. Quilting is a quarter inch each side of all seams. Finished size is 22" square.
Pip was lit by one Godox AD600BM to camera left fitted with a large octabox and a Godox AD360 to the right and rear fitted with a small soft box
Another indoor shot of Pip, during daylight hours this time, though. It's funny how different he looks under different lighting conditions -- or maybe he's part chameleon and can make his coat change colors :-)
I like Pip's expression, or at least the one eye you can see here -- his attention is riveted on a salmon cat treat I am holding (why do I have cat treats when I have no cats? I thought they were dog treats when I picked-up the free sample. The dogs don't seem to care.)
I was down on the ground, shooting some early blue grape hyacinths, when I noticed our Pip sitting on the dustbin. She was following my antics from above and didn't seem to understand what I was doing down there. How do you explain that to a cat?
Featured in The Father Life magazine in an article about the virtues of poodles :-)
We had a neighborhood party with five Spoo friends (and their humans) from all over the U.S. Our neighbor Joey (age 4) really enjoyed it.
I bought a 35MM lens for my camera, so just trying it out around the house (I've been sick for 2 weeks :( ).
